A Great treat for the kids on a wet weekend that won't break the bank, after going to this for Toy Story 3 I will never pay full price for a film again.

If Voting cold say why.

Don't pretty much all cinemas have Saturday kids showings for £1? pretty sure most do, so lost as to why it can be classed as a deal.

When I was a kid I went to my local for £1 Kids club showings, cheap but terrible, a cinema full of kids just does not work very well, do not really get to hear any of the movie lol. And this was over ten years ago, kids club at cinemas has been going for a looong time and has always been around the £1 mark.

Odean have Kids club for £3.60 a ticket but adults go free.

it's not really £1, if you buy tickets online there's a booking fee, so it actually costs quite a bit more.

and then there's the prices of the snacks. went last saturday, two small ice creams, one medium popcorn + drink bundle, one capri-sun apple, two small 7-ups, cost ~~£20!!!

Never ever buy anything in the cinema, take your own!

Marmaduke is probably the worse movie we saw last year but can't go wrong for a quid. We go to the kiddy flicks most weeks either at Odeon or Vue. Apart from Toy Story 3 the cinemas have usually been less then half full so no need to book.

i always turn up about half an hour early before the film starts, buy the tickets then so i never incur a booking fee, for a quid each my little one loves it and its a cheap trip out for him, i never buy my sweets/drinks in the cinema, always buy ahead in a supermarket or £shop and put them in my handbag, i also bring my own popcorn!!

Yes, so do I. And the kids love it. The booking fee is pence. I took our 3 boys to see Toy Story 3 for around £6, after I booked in advance in Autumn half term. Would have felt mightily ripped off if I'd have paid the full whack which was around the £30 mark. HOT

Hot. We go to the £1 sessions occasionally. Saw Shrek Forever this weekend just gone. If you take your owm snacks, you can not beat this as a fab treat for the kids on a wet weekend. I have 3 kids and they love going to whatever movie happens to be on. Heat added. It is hardly ever full at my cinema (Vue, North Finchely, North London)

we went to Shrek this weekend as well, harrow cinema wasn't full but they only used a very small screen for it, for a £1 you can't beat it.
