Darn wish I'd thought of that, I chucked 1.5 bars away.

My original comment was meant as "try before you buy 50" rather than "avoid this at all costs" by the way! :)

And it's not even April 1st.

I like Marmite, but hate this!

At .90p it has to be worth it :p.... might wanna change title :).

I'm a big lover of Marmite, and chocolate too, but the two of them together sounds quite revolting.

Bought some last November at full price and quite like it

Love this, and so do my kids. 2 for £2.99 at Robert Dyas stores, not as good, but might be useful if you are desparate for some.

my son wants to try this, may have to see if I can get him a bar :)

its goooooooooood! Can deffo taste the marmite and it combines with the chocolate really well to give a lovely velvety rich taste. Would be awesome to try in a chilli!!

Yeah, thanks for that. Got some at Christmas. Like it in very small quantities, and can second the fact that it's good in chilli and to make your beef stew even richer.

Like others have said. I find Marmite nice, and I find chocolate nice. This.. not really.

I suppose it is suprisingly ok tasting in a way, as it does not taste revolting as ou might expect it to. But fundamentally it is not as nice as chocolate without marmite in it. I think only a small percentage of people would find it to be nicer..

BHS were selling this for 50p in their post Christmas clearance sale. I love Marmite, but this is honkingly bad. I took the bar into work in January and 2 thirds of it is still sitting untouched (this in an office where a large tin of Roses would be quaffed in an afternoon). Good idea re using in chilli, but don't waste your money otherwise.
