For full specifications with this bag (already hell of a bargain at original price), which would normally cost around £100 (not to mention the brand being the most luxurious) with the properties for this to not be false savings, I'd recommend this source from the manufacturer:

https://marmot.com/products/details/womens-trestles-15

You won't find any other sleeping bag for this price (others in this bracket offer comfort at 0 Celsius from less technical, established brands) that's from such a bespoke brand and of high ratings technically.

AKA: I AM AMAZED AT THIS VALUE! This could endure a severe Winter abroad and easily any weather in the UK! As someone very into technical equipment for hiking/mountaineering/trekking/camping, I'm still dumbfounded at this deal myself.

How can a sleeping bag be gender specific?

How can a sleeping bag be gender specific?
This is a mummy bag and they're designed to be tight around the body to /ensure/ no cold spots or wasted heat into open sections - very snug. With women, there has to be additional space for breasts and waists (typically larger chest on average). :) Incidentally, as this was such a remarkable deal, I'm not surprised it's already sold out...

Ahh, bless. But no. It's just marketing.

Men have a larger chest size on average than women. (No, that can't be true. But it is ;) ) This sleeping bag will be too narrow in the top half for the average man.

If that's so, why does every expeditionist use a mummy bag?

Good find all the same. The only difference I can find between hiking gear for men and women is that most brands seem to have outdated prejudices about which colour things should be according to gender. Apart from the occasional close cut women's top, almost every outdoors item could be sold as unisex. Even boots IMO.
It could even be argued, that the reason this sleeping bag is on sale is because they are trying to sell a BLUE, traditionally seen as masculine colour, sleeping bag to women. Talk about crossed wires.

I wonder if any men here on hukd bought this??
