Mars celebrations are a box/tin of a variety of different chocolates. Each chocolate is individually wrapped in a foil wrapper, and this wrapper really accounts to them being super fresh when you decide to tuck into them.
Celebrations are really a cause for a celebration as they include extremely yummy mini versions of the larger bars;
Mars Bar, Bounty, Snickers, Galaxy, Galaxy caramel, Galaxy truffle, Malteasers and Milkyway.

I see the irony of them being indiviualy wrapped yet in a "recyclable tub" is being missed.

Don't know if I'm going daft :w00t: , but didn't these used to be 1kg tubs during Christmas 2008 :santa: and earlier ?
its Marc#5
yep, that probably included the weight of the tin though?

Haha. Nice one!

They get smaller and smaller each year.
Anyhow arn't the metal tins no longer recyclable:whistling:, just a marketing gimmick.

I think the point is they're now in an "environmentally friendly" recyclable plastic tub. What's wrong with (recycled) cardboard? I love the way they print "recyclable" on plastic packaging that we don't need as if they imagine we're so stupid we'll think they're somehow saving our environment.

Just picked up a tin now, and yeah the new tins are well smaller, the old tin was 975gm net, that's 120gm less, don't know how many sweets that is but it seems like a lot. :x
Hobo_United#14
seems like all the supermarket are competing.....better stock up for xmas.....
futura#15
rubbish deal - sweet makers are conning the public by contantly reducing the size of these - they used to be 1.5-2.2kg but now they aren't even a kilo!
