Just to note, it's £17.85, not 95 (10p is a big deal). I don't see why this is cold, it matches some of the other prices we're seeing, and it's in stock...

Heat added.

You may find it is because of the content of this Feedback thread:

"Is it not time The Hut Group were banned from here?"

Also see the member reviews for Zavvi.com & The Hut:

[ http://www.hotukdeals.com/reviews/zavvi ] (currently 16 positive & 23 negative comments)
[ http://www.hotukdeals.com/reviews/the-hut ] (12 positive versus 31 negative)

A lot of the negatives are from really impatient people who got their pre orders a day or two late, the companies are based off shore, so like HMV it's going to take a few days, thats what you get with these cheaper companies.

I agree; pre-ordering a title from any retailer is no indication that it will even be despatched on the release date. The individual merchant's terms & conditions may suggest that they will endeavour to despatch in time so that the item arrives on or before the release date, but this will be subject to stock & the postal service used.

If you read the Feedback thread I quoted you will see reports from a few members that have had to raise PayPal dispute claims against The Hut Group. A member of their Customer Services team contributed to the thread for a while, but resolutions to the outstanding issues were not reached.

As you suggest, you pay for the service you receive with off-shore warehousing (such as The Hut Group, HMV, & Play.com). Prices are lower, but delivery takes longer.

However, from my experience with Zavvi.com, for instance, items can be marked as "in stock" or have an availability of "3 to 5 days", but they arrive months after my order was placed.

I had the same problem with GOW collection with Zavvi but i understand where you are coming from FP. Personally I dont mind waitng a few weeks extra if I am saving a few quid but i cant deny it is frustrating!
