Duck Soup is one of the funniest films ever made in my opinion.

Voted hot!

By the way there's another Marx Brothers boxset bargain containing 6 films for £17.99,two of which the band Queen used as titles for a couple of their albums

While this does feature some classic Marx Brothers movies (Duck Soup, Monkey Business, Horse Feathers) they are not all Marx Bros movies.

"Girl in every port" is not a Marx Brothers film but only features Grouch Marx and was made in 1952.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0044662/

Love Happy is not a Marx Brothers fim either as it only features Harpo and Chico and was made in 1949 (Groucho does some narration)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0041604/

Also note that Cocoanuts was made in 1928 and Animal Crackers in 1930 so while interesting for Marx Brothers fans the quality is quite poor.

Still a great box set though and an ideal Xmas pressie for Marx Brothers fans.

A Night at the Opera is missing which is a shame. I suppose they haven’t got all the proper Marx Brothers films due to contractual reasons. It would be nice to see them all in one set. I grew up with these films, not in the 30s though. :p

Here is the companion box set which features the rest of the films

That box set has Night at the Opera.

In fact unlike the other box set these are ALL Marx Brothers films, although if truth be known a couple of them are not that great (Go West for example) but by then their heart was not really in it.

Even their poorer films have some great moments in them. This Universal Studios box set used to only have four movies (albeit the best four) so its even better value now.
