sometimes on pc towers the usb sockets are quite difficult to get to so by plugging the usb onto this this desk it makes it easier connect printers etc. basicially its a usb expansion hub to give you more usb sockets.

and a USB hub on its own could cost £4 to £5 so a hot deal from me, ordered one for store delivery with Quidco...

good idea having the USB ports accessible like that.....very handy.

I guess the desk isn't quite strong enough to perhaps take anything heavier than a 19" monitor
#10
looks stupid. Too small and you'll knock the USB plugs all the time. There's a reason it's so cheap.

it has it's applications.. great for a small computer desk out of the way.. no one is telling your to buy one so why comment.

Pretentious name as well.

I doubt it'll matter. I reckon it'll just be a case of connecting a USB cable from your USB port of choice on your laptop or desktop to the socket on the desk. Then just use the socket on the desk for flash memory or anything else you tend to plug and unplug a lot.

As a previous poster suggested, you risk catching yourself on flash drives etc. that are sticking out the front of the desk though.

Heres hoping theres some left on wednesday skint till then! argh!!

Looks cool, well worth it for the money I reckon.

Shame only up to 19" though, I could do with a small table like this to put a 32" HDTV in bedroom on, but presumably that would be too heavy.

Mcririck.. more like mc*rick! Every comment you've every made is just whining or just rubbish.. do me a favour and do a Bradley Branning.

As for me commenting on this I like the USB in the desk itself and may well replace my ratty old mini desk in my work room.

Good deal if you can get delivery to store for free, however not for me as no local store listed and delivery is £5, almost half as much again!:x

voted hot for desk, would vote cold for delivery fees!!!!

Looks like a great little computer desk and I'm sure the USB thing is better designed than that. Worst case, if its not then buy a USB extension cable for a quid and use it in either or both or boil a kettle on it.

Looks like they are SOLD OUT as you can't add it to the basket.

i think these are only usb 1.0 so might be slower when used with a printer anyway

possibly depends on which warehouse it may be delivered from, I've noticed things in the past have been still available to me...but not mainland UK, we have a REALLY LARGE tesco warehouse in Northern Ireland.
