Yeah definitely buy it new, 6 hours of gameplay in the DLC code,
#8
Was just about to pay £20 for this!! I won't need the 6 hour DLC as I'm new to RPG games so just looking to complete it.
#9
nice one - now at a price that you simply cannot ignore, even though it is pre-owned. I believe from what I have read is that most of the DLC is actually on the disc. heated.
#10
Nice price. Heat.
#11
Very tempted but doesn't the one-time pass code include the mass effect 1 catchup story?
I think I may wait for the new price to come down a bit especially as I have oodles of games on my shelf just waiting to be played.

Voted hot though.

Isnt the dlc on the disc like fallout 3 goty? Or is it a code?

It is a one time code so not like Fallout 3 GOTY, more like Borderlands GOTY

Yes, the backstory and decisions you can make via it to affect MS2 is contained in the DLC, which is via the code (which for a used copy will no doubt already be used) or downloadable from PSN store for (I think) £12. One of the extra Characters is part of this downloadable pack as well including his missions.

I'd presume the low price is because you don't get the DLC. Paying more for the game when you don't get some of the extras advertised that would be silly.

Does this include all the dlc built in, or does it use codes cos if it is codes then not a great deal. I have both consoles and bought the 360 version for £5 new at Game, which includes a code for the Cerberous network that has tons of free dlc. I do want this version since it has better graphics and I was the impression that the dlc was on the disc.

stupid comment - people buy 2nd hand games because the games cost too much to start with - they would never buy the game if it wasnt available cheap.
the developers dont really lose out here, the initial sales of big games like this make them happy.
the one thing i dont like about used games is that sometimes the game is cheaper than the code you wont get, so if you want the full experience you need to pay big money for the code on the psn.

i very rarely buy new release games but if i do its sold within a week once im done with it, but i usually buy 2nd hand or wait until the game is sub £10 new - the developers arent going to be bothered by sales by then.

until games are released for £20 across the board, the 2nd hand games will never die.
#21
oh and great price, im half tempted to buy, but the code which you would have to buy to get the platinum and fully finish the game is also £12. so best to wait.

although you may get lucky - i bought a 2nd hand copy of dragon age on ps3 from cex and even though it said (No DLC) the code worked.

and to the chump saying the xbox version is half that - indeed it is, but has one piece of dlc with it and thats only if you buy new, the game is 1 year older so doesnt really compare, and the ps3 version will look better. i have xbox and ps3 so im not being a fanboy. i used to have this game on xbox last year, but didnt keep it long.

Best game on the PS3 at the moment bar Uncharted 2. Fantastic price. Heat added

Although I rarely purchase second hand games I do sell my on, to be able to purchase new ones. If I couldn't do that then I would only buy half the number of games that I do and very rarely would I purchase until they were under £20 plus I wouldn't take a gamble on purchasing a game which I wasn't 100% sure I would like. Many a time I've purchased a game thinking "doesn't look great to me but can always sell on if I don't like" and be pleasantly surprised to find a hidden gem.

Most of the money goes to the publishers not the developers. I rarely buy preowned but I'll always by a game preowned if it's published by Activision

Bought 2 copies of this 2 weeks ago from tesco in Notts, one for me and a mate. The case disc and booklet looked brand new. We both tried the codes in the box and they both worked, neither had been used. I have to say though, I must be in the 5% of people who just don't think this game lives up to the hype. Don't get me wrong I can see why people love it, but after 7 hours play, it's not for me. I preferre DragonAge to this, I just prefer a medieval setting for this type of game. Still, no loss. Will take it into GameStation tomorrow for £17 trade in matching CEX. If you want to know what your missing from the code, go on the PS store and look for the download pack that costs £12, and that's the one. TBH, it's not really worth 12, but if it's free then it's all good.

pretty sure the extra stuff is on the disk, its only an extra suit and slot in game
#31
Ordered yesterday and received it today!!! Game came with code so input code into psn and have just downloaded the extra content!!! Worth trying the code just in case.
