£9.75 @ Amazon
Seems a good price for 3 games. Price is for Prime, not sure if it changes if just buying normally. Read More

Tempted to play the trilogy anyone before Andromeda? I have been resisting buying for a second play through on my new PC after originally completing on xbox. Not sure how much better it would be on my GTX 1070 though and 40+ hours required.

I'm going to wait for the (probable) remasters before playing through again. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2016/08/16/ea-strongly-hints-that-mass-effect-games-will-get-remastered.aspx

Doubt I would play the first again but perhaps the sequels. Presumably on PC you will be playing at 1080p/60fps minimum, if not 4K? Should be glorious compared to the old 720p/30fps versions on last gen consoles.

As you say though it's a big time commitment...

As mentioned above. Bioware have said they're likely to do a remastered version for the trilogy. These games are my all time favourite, I will definitely be playing before andromeda!

I played all three again last year with all the dlc that was worth buying that is. For 2 and 3 i got all the story dlc except 1. Must say this was my second play through and even part 1 was worth it. Second play through is definitely easier and goes quicker than the first one i did years ago. Btw if you playing on pc 1 and 2 don't have buildin controller support will require you to download a mod to get xbox 360 support.

How did you find ME1? I've previously played the series on 360 & PS3, but when I played the ME1 PC version I encountered a fair amount of bugs. Had to save often to avoid having to replay chunks of the game.

Performance was a lot better, but the bugs kind of marred it a little. Had no real issues with ME2, though the controller mod would often activate a biotic power when I tried to open the biotic menu.
As for ME3, I started it but still need to finish the playthrough. The controller mod seemed a lot more stable.

As others have said in the thread, hopefully the remaster rumours are true and that they get PC releases. If for nothing else, the DLC prices on PC are ridiculous. Basically they never discount them, we are talking around £47 of storyline DLC in ME2&3, for games that are now 4-6 years old.
