With all these Amazon deals tonight, I'm seriously going to have to increase my Postman's Christmas tip - unless he fancies a 9p iPod case!

These are Amazon Direct. Just do a search for 'ipod cases' and sort by lowest price

Thanks to the OP

Stop saying cut and paste. It is copy and paste. If you cut something then there is nothing to paste as cut means delete. Methinks you are getting confused with the school saying of "cut and paste" which is used when you carefully cut round the teddy bear's ears and paste it onto a bit of coloured card with a bit of glue.

Cheers OP, I have cut and pasted a hot vote in your direction.
#22
6 cases ordered for 68p posted.

(What on earth am I going to do with 6 cases?)
#23
Heat because you didn't decide to give each item its own thread.

Sorry to be pedantic, but if you cut and paste it will delete it but you can then paste it anywhere you like :P You are correct though, people should "copy and paste" but I think everyone gets the term "cut and paste" too ;D

Good deal op - heat added! :)

No because how would it paste if it wasn't copied? The option to paste would be blank. Think about it.
But I jest I was only pointing it out to be a funny ****- but people should stop saying it as when you get a beginner on a PC being advised to "cut and paste" then naturally they will try to "cut" rather than "copy". And as they are beginners they don't save at regular intervals, so they write a whole document, then "cut" it and lose it all. So it needs to stop for their benefit, not ours. It would be like telling them to "press the X in the top right corner and then click no when a box appears" when they want to save a document.

Being pedantic...er still. You can't cut from a site only copy. From a document that's editable (I'll check the spelling on that later) you can cut and paste or copy and paste.

Only difference being the original text staying put or going!

You can have the soap box back now if you still want it!!!

If you 'cut' text, pictures etc from a document, then the item that you cut is held on what is known as a clipboard until you paste it elsewhere - it is not deleted (unless you cut, do not paste and then switch off your computer). For example, if you want to move a paragraph from the start of a document to the end of a document, you cut it from the start and paste it at the end. If you 'copy and paste' then you would end up with duplicate paragraphs, one at the start and one at the end.
