  I searched Asda/special offers/mp3 and found the 4GB player. Logged on to shop and its no longer in that list so its regional and not available to me in my area.

  However... given the number of 4gb flash based mp3 players available on fleabay for around £36 - is this really a bargain given that this appears to be a hard drive based unit and is a tenner more?

  Please don't take this the wrong way, but £139.99 originally, down to £79.99 instore, delivered for £42.99 - to me that's a bargain!!! :)
  
  Unfortunately, i'm not too clued up on the differences between hard drive versus flash drive - a quick net-search has filled me in though.
  
  I've never really liked the idea of buying electrical goods from Ebay, espescially if it's from overseas - if it goes wrong, you can be stuffed! aswell as import tax etc. At least with this offer, anything goes wrong, Asda will sort you out and it'll probably be delivered a lot quicker through Asda too!:p
  
  PS. Contrary to how it sounds, I don't work for Asda!!!

  I guess no-one's interested in this then! It's a shame, I was looking forward to posting my first offer - and it was quite exciting, waiting to see if anyone else would pick it up. But nothing :-( ah well - i'll keep looking to see if I can find anything else :pirate:
