I got mine today, and there seemed to be plenty left, definatly worth a look since I have only found it priced at £50+ everywhere else

Looks like a good deal, but that egg looks a little fake, doubt you would get that on an inclined grill.

Link doesn't work!

the grill with the eggs is like a hot plate, the incline is very slight so works fine.

i have one of these, excellent for doing a huge brekkie for everyone in one go!

I use ours loads, easily holds enough food for six or seven. Good price. :)

Please can you tell me how you manage to fry eggs, and i have one and it is very vert hard if not impossible to fry an egg on an incline.

Besides that these are great.

Lots of love for the George Foreman! I thought these were a bit bit naff but with all this praise I'm going to check them out! Sadly not at Macro as they wont sell to me with my boring normal job :x maybe its worth starting a business to get a card as theres sooo many deals on here from them...LOL

Remember you'll have 15% vat on top of this if the op hasn't included that already.

We bought one of these 5-6 years ago to go camping with (for electric pitches). Best purchase we ever made! Still going strong.
The Grill is great for the burgers, sausages etc, the griddle we then used as a hotplate, putting saucepans on it and cooking beans, noodles canned curry etc.
We now have a caravan and I use it more than the oven. When the weather isn't too good we use it as an indoor bbq.

Oh by the way the £34.49 includes VAT

You sure? I've been going to Markro for years and they normally add VAT at the till.

If it was included by the op, the price would be £29.99 which would make sense.

I do eggs on the griddle (and have attempted pancakes, too) but you have to hold the front up otherwise you will never get a round, or even vaguely round, egg! I got mine 3 years ago from Bid TV for about the same price - would have thought they'd have come down further by now.

There was a huge George Forman grill half price at Sainsburys (Telford) today. Not this one, but I didn't have my phone to take a pic. Might be in other branches too perhaps?

The handles are rather brittle, our one shattered when my step dad let go of it a couple of inches above it being fully closed...

but other than that it's great :p

Ooooooh yes.... I can put this alongside the juicer and the breadmaker and watch it also gather dust.
#23
Pfffft...this George Foreman Grill is pathetic.....I can play games and BLU-ray films on mine. :p

Saw these in Makro today. They are quite large, so make sure you have room in your kitchen for it. That incline in the picture is exaggerated - it looked more or less flat in the shop.

George formans amazing for students as well! i was well gutted when mine broke!!

great for making toasties as well  - which i lived on for about 3 years

I also have this grill. You can make fried eggs on it easily. I agree it makes fantastic toasties.
I take mine camping with me too. It makes brekkie for two families. No handle on mine either. Did glue it but another "event" caused it to snap again. Ive been watching out for this on Amazon as they usually reduce these in the winter but so far it's only gone down 15 odd quid so this is a great bargain from Makro. Mine now sticks as I have a 12 year old who goes mad making toasties on it all the time.
May need to go get a card again but I swore I would never give them my business again when they went mad years ago taking cards from people for silly reasons.
