In what way are these different from normal T's? Are they worth the money for a very casual cyclist?

They are made of a fine mesh type material that wicks sweat away in the breeze (that you create with forward motion) - hence you stay dry, cool and comfortable.
You also look better as there are no big sweat patches showing as with a normal 'T'.

It's well worth getting an Aldi £5 one to try it out. Then move up in quality if you like it.
I wouldn't cycle any distance without one - particularly up a hill.:whistling:

They wick sweat away better than cotton and are more comfortable whilst riding. Definitely worth having a few, especially on warmer days. The Endura Cairn is very good, good price for Endura stuff. As are all the listed Best Selling Jerseys - Short Sleeve. Alternatively Aldi are selling some for a fiver on Thursday.

Make all the difference when cycling, they don't rub - get all sweaty and clingy ... HIghly recommend.

Beware the Royal branded ones - whilst good kit the sizes are at least one bigger than any other brand. i.e. XL is much more like large and so on. Buy a size smaller than usual with this brand.
