the steam mega deals per day must have been a hit for it to return

EDIT: all steam deals should be here, but as always, it seems that there are spanning threads about X game, and another for Y game.

well and there is the clever person who done the general deal that will overshadow all of the single deals :-D

Mind you, now is not whether i have the cash to buy all this, but rather, do I have the time to play all this (i still have a catalogue of games i havent even started yet - mirror's edge being one of them D:.. and im sure im not the only one thinking this )

Some insane deals, especially the daily ones.

These are fantastic! Steam damn you, damn you for taking my money with such a big smile. Altitude for a fiver is a really neat little indie game, definitely picking that up. Foreign Legions is another indie game that looks like its had alot of improvement made on it with updates. Thanks for the heads up on Braid Artonox, I was never too fussed about the game but for £1.74 I seriously cannot say no

Trine I never found to be worth it. I played the demo and thought it was cool, and looks extremely pretty but its apparently a pretty short game and it really didn't hook me in. Then they slapped on an epic pricetag onto it and I took no notice whatsoever. Much like Braid for me to show interest in it it'd have to be around £3 or less.

Yeah it seems like they're having issues. I'd say wait a short while, or head to bed and check in the morning. Their servers must be getting slammed from everyone rushing out to buy some of these awesome deals. But fear not, they'll be there til January 3rd, and todays 'Daily Deal' lasts 2 days much like the Thanksgiving sale they had. I imagine the Daily Deals from then out will be literally 24 hours. Why they do it that way I do not know

yeh agree re: trine is cool but i wouldnt pay £20 odd for it few games imo are worth it and thats why i wont buy many console games now but £6-7 is about right for trine

i cant buy anything either damn!
#18
orange box is £12.74.. think its pricey
#19
I'm thinking about the Popcap game collection.

Under £40 for 30 games so £1.33 per game.

I know some of them may just be worth the £1.33 but theres enough there to keep the wife & kids happy for a fair while with the likes of the Peggle series, Zuma, Plants vs Zombies, Bejeweled etc etc etc etc.............
#20
Oh man. they gunna takes all my monies/
#21
Plants vs. Zombies is excellent, the likes of Peggle, Bookworm and Bejeweled are strangely compelling.
#22
Sweet! I love indie game 'cause they're not mainstream and I feel special when I play them.
#23
#24
Gah! That's more than 600 games!

Ben There Dan That and Time Gentlemen Please for £1.49 is my awesome recommendation:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/37400/

Unless you buy these (if you can call that price 'buying') and rofl your fao all xmas long then you are a sub-par human being.

SUB-PAR, I exclaim!
#36

Hi

Steam newbie here and wondering if any of you can help?

I want to buy some of the games listed for my brother for Christmas. Is it possible to buy them and send him the download link (or whatever you need to do to get the games) or does it have to be downloaded as soon as you pay?

Thanks
Snakebite
#39
I realise that I'd need to d/l the game, but can I (or do I have to) burn it onto CD. Is it "mine to keep", in that I am shortly going to u/g to Win7 and will be formatting my drive.

And can you use it on more than one computer (forgetting any license issues!)

When purchasing games on Steam you can decide whether you're buying it as a gift or for yourself. Click here for more info.
