With regards to Cafe Nero do you have to show android pay with mastercard or tap payment?

Show the app with your MasterCard on it. Don't tap, they can use their code (MasterCard) which makes your coffee free.

my understanding is that they charge you but Mastercard then put a refund on your card. I was going to try this yesterday but the Mastercard i had with me didn't support android pat. Blooming Yorkshire bsnk
Is it only android pay Mastercards then? That sucks if so, so few banks accept it, and even fewer banks seem to use Mastercard...

How does it work if you claim it? Do you just hope it doesn't charge you?
Havn't got a mastercard, and i am not sure if the one i get from Revoult will work

Contacted MasterCard (after originally contacting my card issuer) regarding the Caffe Nero refund not coming through. Was told you only had to show your card, not actually pay with it. Looking at their terms and conditions this is indeed stated there, but I don't feel they made it particularly clear :(
MasterCard are sending me a free Neros voucher as compensation, which is nice of them, but I still feel the terms could have been a little clearer. Oh well, live and learn!

How did you contact Mastercard? I have an issue as well. But they've all been passing me back and forth

Yes, I did get the Leon.
The screen brightness comments I also saw isnt an issue to me, esp for 29pounds. Its possible I cant tell the difference with my DoogeeX5Pro.
But, Barclaycard isnt accepted by Android Pay. Ungh!!!
Although it is Android 6, adoptable storage isnt enabled but only portable storage. Nevertheless, you are still allowed to move some apps to sdcard.
However, being used to be able to stuff my mobile with apps and music, the Leon isnt that. Would use it as a glorified credit card.
Once I figure out the Revolut card, might try it with Android Pay but it vorks for some but not others.
For the time being its my new pet white elephant.
Have been looking at Bluboo Picasso nfc 4g at around 60-70pounds presale. But with my hand firmly on my wallet. It could be ideal except no fingerprint sensor otherwise almost like the DoogeeX5Pro but plus nfc.
Hope this helps.

Cheers for the reply mate, appreciate you taking the time.

It says 'Mastercard only' on all the 'oncard' offers.

25% cashback on purchases up to £5 at Starbucks
You can only earn cashback from this offer twice during the offer period. The offer is valid in all stand alone UK Starbucks coffee shops (excludes stores within Centre Parcs complexes).
Only purchases made on a registered MasterCard will qualify for cashback. Gift Card purchases are not eligible for cashback. Cashback will only apply on purchases up to £5, or the first £5 of purchases over this amount. Please keep your receipt when you complete a transaction, as you will need to provide the receipt as a reference if you have to lodge a missing cashback claim..

Shame I don't own a Mastercard!

Ya Shame that you don't have MasterCard. Guess it's for those SB drinkers and MasterCard user then...

What if you have more than one master-card - can you get the offer on both - i.e. free travel to the office in the morning on one card and free ride back in the evening on the other? :D

You can use it all in the same card as long as it is not over 27.90 per card per promotion period.

The offer entitles cardholders to receive a refund against their travel costs made with a MasterCard card with Apple Pay on London Buses, London Underground, London Trams, Docklands Light Railway, London Overground, TfL Rail, Emirates Air Line, and most National Rail services in London (where a yellow card reader is present) to a maximum value of £27.90 per cardholder, per Promotional Period. The offer is as stated and nothing else is included.

Thank you!! Will have a proper look this way, prices seem better!

Likewise, Wicked is for £25 and £40 with this offer but £15 from the box office!
Some theatres only release the expensive tickets (e.g. War Horse, £40 only!) because the cheap seats will still sell.

Incidentally, I sat in the £15 seats at curious incident. The rest of my group couldn't handle the rail (restricted view) and walked out at the interval!

How did you get Wicked for £15 from the box office- was this "on the day" try and see what is available?

From the website:
http://www.wickedthemusical.co.uk/timesandprices.asp

I paid £25 with the GILT offer earlier this year, and thought I had a good deal as I didn't check the usual prices!

There is current price list for London Eye:

http://www.londoneye.com/TicketsAndPrices/Tickets/
Hmm , Paying a French company to see London lol
The full normal price for this is a bit over the top, considering that a trip to the top of the Eiffel tower or Tower of Pisa can both be had for less than 13 quid each.
Standard tickets are £28.80 each if bought on the day or £25.92 if pre-paid online. There are loads of discount deals around though and if you're planning a trip to London, you can usually get pretty good combi deals including bus tours, river cruises and attractions like London Dungeon so look around first. BOGOF is a pretty good deal though!

Did everything as per the OP, and got the voucher code - not sure where to put that in the mobile app - any help ?

In the app, click the icon in the top left of the screen (at least on Android phones). You'll need to register a profile. Once done, click on that icon again in the top left, and then tap "credits", where it will prompt you for the code.

Can I just show the voucher on my phone or does it have to be a print out?
I just found an old ticket stub from when I went on the eye back in 2003 which was £10.80. I thought that was steep then.:|
Very good deal cheers OP

London Eye risks being off putting to so many people on the basis of the price for what they perceive they will receive. (Step aside Public Enemy, I'm dropping bombs!)

Its only when you get on it you realise what a vital part of a touristy trip to London this is, great views and jolly good fun. Its my 2nd favourite touristy London experience after the Natural History Museum because, frankly, it doesn't have dinosaurs!

Voted hot!
nice one :)
