on your receipt there should be a long number or even the number underneath the barcode on the packaging

:w00t:
This got plenty of heat a few months ago at £12.49 so £1 is just the ticket.

From the pics I would guess that this is a branch specific deal. The barcode has been crossed out thererfore the item is probably entered manually at £1 at the counter. If the barcode was used then this would suggest that B&Q have made this reduction on their system and the price would be applicable nationwide.

just a thought
#15
Whereabouts in the store were these? Around their respective aisles, or special displays on ends of aisles etc.?
#16
The Banana Plus, Phono cables etc do not have a black pen through them.

They scanned at £1 without the cashier doing a thing.
#17
Great find, top marks.
#18
Saw these in Clearance Bargains last week, can't remember the price thou !
#19
I had one from Argos last year and they are good, just one thing to note if you are using at the back of a desk that backs on to a wall you need at least 2-3" space for the rear connectors to plug into (usb, ethernet, headphone/mic etc - these are all protected by the surge protector too.

I don't think there are any left at the Swansea (Morfa) branch - at least I couldn't find any. There were loads of HUKD'ers there though - you can tell us a mile away ;) - one lady had one of the B&Q emploees on the case - don't know if she got lucky.

Ditto, just got back now couldn't see any anywhere. My guess is that someone saw this and being greedy bought the lot

Nothing at the Cricklewood (London) branch.
Just the usual £1 rack of cable ties etc.
#23
they were in Argos too at £49.99 and the last few cleared at £14.99 so this was a good find - cheers! heat and rep added
#24
Cheers for that - saves me going to have a look on the way home tonight (Criclkewood is my local store!)
#25
Non in Stockport..
#26
none in doncaster

a lot of electrical accs were reduced to a pound about 2/3 months.there may be the odd bit lying around some stores, but they will be few and far between.
just a hint though if the store has a clearance section they might still be there but marked up at the original clearance price not £1.might be worth checking if anybody finds any electrical accs in the clearance section.

What does this do?
#30
It does not do anything useful apart from take up room on your desk. The surge "protector" is redundant, there are passthroughs for ethernet, phone and audio and a 4 port usb hub. The usb hub seems the only worthwhile addition here, none of the rest is going to reduce any cabling you have. Apart from that, it looks ungainly and hideous. Can't think why it's reduced to clear.

For a quid, it might be worth it for the bundled cables, so voted hot.

So, did anyone apart from the OP actually get their hands on this for a pound? If not then 388 degrees is awfully hot when only one person actually got one... :whistling:
