You get 4 sockets and 1 remote control.
I used the picture from Argos site but from memory they look identical. Home Bargains said the RRP was £29.99 i think.

Bargain if you need this sort of thing.

What a cracking deal, was just about to post this myself. I bought some today in my local store in Newport. I went to Tescos after Home Bargains who have the exact same ones just labeled with their own brand name for £24.99!

i had taken a similar product from wilkinson last month.... excellent product! and a hot price go for it!

Great (already got one) - however.... IF you unplug the socket from the wall unlike other remote control socketrs these sockets DO NOT remember what they are aligned to, thus you have to manually reprogram the remote to the EACH socket....

Apart from that they are great

Have the Wilko ones. Great little money saver. Especially for the built in appliances, and hard to get at plugs!

I check my local store today.

Heat added!

You know how these are suppose to save energy because you can easily turn stuff off properly instead of leaving them on standby...

Surely these plugs have to be left on standby the whole time if you want to turn on and off by remote! Anyone actually know how much power they use? I expect it would take a LONG time to either offset your carbon footprint of leaving a few things on standby compared to the manufacturing, distribution and usage carbon cost of these plugs (if you buy it for environmental reasons) or to save £5.99 on your electric bill (if you bought it to save money).

Anyone going today want to pick me up a box? I'll pay for your time obviously

Couldn't find the technical/environmental details I was asking about, but these are £34.29 at argos, so definite hot deal (if you're sure you really want this sort of thing to save money/planet!)

If nobody will help you, Maplin have an unbranded two pack for £1 more £6.99 if that's enough for you http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=229265&doy=10m5&C=SO&U=strat15 (or buy two of them if you don't mind two separate remotes, maybe quicker/cheaper than paying someone time/postage costs on this) not such a good deal as this so not posting it, but available for delivery for everyone or maybe locally, unlike HB which is quite regional

I think a lot of people recycle and use "green" energy out of faith. The bottom-line impact on the environment is very difficult to calculate once you've factored in sourcing raw-materials, manufacturing, transportation, packaging, lifespan, end-of-life processing (recycling/disposal). I'd buy these because they're useful, but no other reason.

I've noticed there are a lot of complaints about reliability issues with remote mains plugs in general. I wonder what these are like?

As per my previous post - they work fine (i got them from Argos last yeat when they were around £10), no issues, good range, good sensible click 1 on/off or all on/off click avaiable.

Only down side IF you unplug the unit you have to preprogram it or after power cut you need to re-program.

i bought 2 sets of the wilkinsons version when they were on offer, handy product but god awful build quality only 2 of the 8 i bought still work (consistantly)

i bought these exact same ones out of argos when they had them on offer and their great apart from the reset button is too easy to hit!!
