Any idea what it tastes like?

its okay, I prefer pure whey myself but for this price I'd go for this. I've tried the flapjacks before too and they really are nice.

Soya protein isolate, enjoy that mammary tissue guys. Other than that, seems like a pretty good deal. So long as it doesn't taste revolting, just chug it like a champ.

Studies have suggested that the phytoestrogens* contained in soy protein lead to both unwanted decreases in testosterone, and increases in the female sex hormone estrogen.

*Dwyer JT, Goldin RB, Saul N, Gaultieri L, Barakat S, Adkercreutz H. Tofu and soy drinks contain phytoestrogens. J Am Diet Assoc 1994; 94:739-743.

Good enough for me until I can tolerate the taste of soya!

Seems like a lot for your money but I'm not keen on Soya protein.

it got me interested, until it turned out the only flavours were choc/strawberry...

Matrix Chocolate Deluxe flapjacks are the best going around by far. Tasty, pack a whole lot of protein and very low in sugar. Would definitely recommend if anyone's looking for protein bars/flapjacks. Around £19/£20 for 20 is a good price too.

A suggested link..... I don't believe there has been a credible scientific study that proves consuming soy protein in any normal quantities causes an increase in breast tissue. If it were true we would see loads of Japanese men with great racks as they consumes tonnes of the stuff.

OOS

FWIW i used Matrix products a few years ago when i was powerlifting. i experienced a very good product and it was good value at the time. because they were a new company there was not many offers so after a year i went over to myprotein. Having said that, this is a great offer if it becomes available again. FWIW, i still use matrix products but tend to buy when offers come up

It's amazing that people actually buy cr*p stuff like this just because it's cheaper, it's soya isolate, you're going to get boobs. It's cheaper for a reason, always go for the gold standard ;)

But meh, 99.9% of people on here aren't that serious, probably don't even know what protein is for.

Smells great, tastes good but is pretty thick! it'd be perfect if you're the kind of person that makes things like flapjack with your powders but at this price it's still a good buy! (_;)
