I "bought" something off Cd Wow 4 days ago. They emailed me today to say that it was not in stock anymore. So I checked, and it WAS in stock...only £8 more expensive. So I emailed them back. And this is their response.
"Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

We are an international company and source items from various supplier based worldwide. Price for any item may differ from supplier to supplier on day to day basis. The item which you have ordered was from a particular batch on which we have been advised by our suppliers that they are unable to provide further stock.

Since we dispatch all orders on first come first serve basis therefore, as soon as we receive real time stock status from suppliers, we immediately cancel those orders which they are unable to complete at offered price.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by this, and thank you for your understanding - we appreciate it."

So..the moral of the story is. If it's a "good" deal on CD Wow then don't expect it to arrive.

That's my experience.

But, anyone willing to try and purchase something from them should use this little voucher....

last week i watched all 3 films on DVD on my BD player.

Looked great, so I'm not sure if I need the BD version or not.

Good deal though.

Got this for £14.99 from SendIt.com the other day. I pre ordered it in July, it was a possible mis price but they honoured it, which was nice.

I watched the first one on Monday, I got mine in the £14.99 Amazon offer.

Funny how late 90's fashion looks so wack now.

Same here, got it for £14.99 in the Amazon deal.

As that's not available anymore I guess this is still a good price. This is just the triology. Might be worth waiting for the ultimate collection that the US has!

Yes, I was very dissapointed about this too considering that all the early chatter seemed to suggest that the Animatrix in 1080p was included with the UK release. Seems UK buyers got royalty f*cked again but for £15 through Amazon, I'm not complaining - if I'd paid more, though, I probably won't be quite so pleased...

I just received mine yesterday from Amazon, had been waiting for a good few months. But bargain at £15

Having suffered similarly at their hands, I would never order from them again. They are con artists of the highest order.

but is it worth getting this if you have the DVD's and they upscale well???

It's a shame but axelmusic do the BD ultimate edition but for a whopping £ 66.70....... but it is certified region free.

I pre ordered this from Amazon in July at £14.99, I had a £2.50 voucher too, total cost £12.49. It came a few days ago, not sure I want it now though so may sell it on.

Yep, just started watching my £14.99 Amazon bargain, I'd forgot about it until it turned up the other day, I was like WHAT? The Matrix? Then the penny dropped! ha ha
