Matsui ELCD32USBFHD 32" 1080p LCD TV on Dixons website and instore for £299 (£50 off the retail). I thought with everyone going daft trying to bag the Tecknika LCD at Tescos this one might do if you still want a bargain. I can't find any reviews of this model online so speak up if you have had any experience with it.

* 1,300:1 contrast ratio
* 50Hz
* Built-in digital TV tuner
* 1x HDMI, 2x SCART, 1x Component, 1x PC
* Sunplus image enhancement

But your one is 50% more than the tesco one, that was a bargain £199

Cold, because you can get the Technika for £199 and the LG for £329.

I have tried 3 times to buy the Tecknika for £199 at Tescos as well as going down to the only 2 stores in my area without any success. Not everyone is actually able to buy the Tecknika so this is the next cheapest 1080p LCD TV I can find. If you can find a cheaper one that is actually available to buy then please post me a link to it.

The objective of this site is to give details of BARGAINS. This should mean good products at a good price. It does not mean "Who can find the cheapest whatever the price" The Tesco own brand TV's are cheap but read reviews and you might realise why. They are not neccesarily good bargains

its cheaper at £279 or £289 at pcworld, i agree with poster, the technika tv has nott been in stock at tescos on my local store

get the lg32lh2000 from argos gone down to £299 great tv, plus the guy at richer sounds said u cant really tell the dif on 32" screens, i dont know if thats true

Got a Samsung 32" 450 for £299 from John Lewis with 5 year guarantee. They price matched Richer Sounds. That's a better deal than this.

lol, so unnecessarily rude

lol...people take this so seriously! Honestly, the guy is just trying to track down an alternative to the tesco deal. I haven't been able to get one either and I was having a look for the next cheapest......Give him a break, its an okay deal for someone who doesn't have the patience to wait for the tesco deal!!!

£100 more for a Matsui? Is that really an alternative?

I can't find the Matsui anywhere online for less than the price stated at the top (I've tried the PC World site and it's the same price there). The TV is discounted by £50 hence the reason for me posting it on here. I also cannot find any reviews of the TV so I'm wondering what everyones problems are based on. Matsui is NOT a high-end manufacturer but there stuff is not any worse than Tecknika, Mirai, Cello or other low end companies.
Wether or not you think that 1080p is something that is not required in a 32" panel is a matter of personal preference. If you wish to use the VGA or HDMI to connect a PC the higher resolution will make a substantial difference. In my opinion, when comparing 32" 1080p LCDs, there is no other deal at the moment (that most of us can actually buy) that can beat this.

While it's a better TV its not 1080p.

1080p 32" TV for £300, not many around.

Seen one of these in Dixons today, it looks really smart, if it had Samsung plastered all over it you'd never know the difference.

1HDMI though. :(
