We were getting £30 kettles and ended up buying them really often like every six months, bought the cheapest one asda had at about £4 and it is still going strong 3 years later.(_;)

Bought a Breville cordless 3 years ago still going strong but it did cost £30 so under £4 if it only lasts 12 months you're still quids in

shame its not in silver, new kitchen so want everything matching rather than mish mash like before!

Cheers :)

Boiling hot deal!

Steamy! Indeed, why spend loads on a kettle, if it goes wrong in 12 months, you get another. So what's the big issue - bless you.

I have bought cheap ones in my time and all I could taste was the bloody plastic, when drinking the tea or what ever.
#9
You shouldn't drink the tea (or what ever) straight out of the kettle. Pour into a mug first.

Cheap kettles take far too long to boil.....I drink around a dozen or so cups every day and I don't have enough life left to be waiting on a cheap kettle. Get the 3000w ones whether it's £30, £15 or whatever, that way you get more time to spend doing enjoyable things (like sit on here buying bargains :p .....and get a lovely cuppa in seconds rather than minutes.

Excellent deal! Picked up one in Southend store. Thanks OP.

Morrisons had some in recently (their value range). It looks the same item from the pic and a similar price - maybe a fraction cheaper.

I bought one anyway.

Mine magically turns itself off when it's done so I don't have to sit there watching it boil.

Hot. Perfect for the office when everyone has to chip in to buy a new kettle every now and again! (except the boss who still uses it)
