Ideal for use with the 360's newly introduced usb storage support.

Very Very slow according to the review

(12 meg read and 6 write seems to be the fastest drive maxell make) but not in that combo. These speeds are not for the product above as they could be 10 read and 5 write) Without an exact model number(or a name) it's quite hard to say

see if any of these tested are fast and £17.99 (doubt it for the price)

When using the supplied iso creation tool to create a bootable disc.

This is not a clear indicator to the speed of the drive, it might simply be a badly written program.
Without statistics for the read/write speeds of this drive, I wouldn't be so quick to pass it off as rubbish.

^ yeah I know but 3-6 meg a second write IS

The process of moving ISO to drive is painfully slow
#4
which is why it's so cheap

It's cheap so it must be rubbish :?

If this site has taught anything, it's that assumptions like that are deeply flawed.

Oh not at all, I agree absolutely the item should be judged objectively upon it's merits alone.

I just didn't want the fickle hukd visitors to see the first comment & make the classic knee-jerk cold vote

I think this is a pretty good deal. You could sell the game on eBay for £8-10.

And yeah it's slow, but that's only a problem if the files on it are very big and you're constantly replacing them.

You couldn't, because it's pre-installed on the USB drive.

C'mon javier - action not words. Your posts infer that you are indeed the opposite of the HUKD folks you comment on above.
