Are Maxell any good for HDs? I'm looking for something like this but it's not a name I'd associated with these. Any help most welcome thanks.

Freagent is only £2 more is that a better drive ? Rather than an unknown drive in the Maxwell

No Idea - Maxell dont make the drive so I have no idea what the make of the drive is.
I do understand it is compatable with the xbox360 though

If there were a 500GB 2.5" PATA drive inside, do you really think you would be able to buy it for a little over £40? 320GB is the largest size currently and goes for £75.

I need a drive that will allow spindown when not in use, anyone know if this drive/interface will allow this.
