Can anyone summarize the difference between - and + and what my Dell laptop is likely to need?

Seems a great deal.

your laptop will be able to use either, I would opt for the - as these are supposed to be more compatible with DVD players, Allthough ive yet to find a player that doesnt play back + disks.

Play.com have a 100 of these on a spindle for £12.99. Not sure if this is better for anyone?

Cheers mate. Any reason why they still sell both types?

My Sanyo VCR/ DVD Recorder/Player will only record on + discs, mind you it is a bit old now but still going strong.

Not really. Over 30 minutes time difference. If anything you just read his comment.

I saw the highlight on the main page, checked on play, then saw the comment. We shared a similar thought but thanks for pointing out that no mind-reading actually occurred :whistling:

Meh, much better buying 'em online. No fuel costs and they are always this sort of price, provided you get 100 of them (But they don't expire like food items so why not stock up on them)

Cheers all .... I'll go for the play.com deal, but rep also for the tesco one!

Not in my shiting tescos. I went in today to get cds and bought the Tesco brand ones cos the rest were over priced. It remains to be seen if they're any good. Burned 5 but it'll be tomorrow in the car I find out if the're dire.
