I was after a buggy board for a little while and paid about £45 for one so was distraught to find this BARGAIN at my Local Tesco. Ok it was at my local one (Ystrad Mynach) but they had about 12 left and I'm sure they will have them in other stores.

you attach it to the back of your buggy for an older child to stand on.
save their little legs walking around town.

I see. Sure I saw something similar to this on Dragons Den once.

Although this is a hot price, these things are terrible, buckled my buggy, for that reason Mothercare would not stock them. Also don't they make kids just a little lazy???

Err... yes!

try having 3 kids and the "eldest" being 3 years old - they get tired! This thing is a life saver and the price is amazing - I bought this from MOTHERCARE for £50 (no idea why the person above said Mothercare do not stock them?).

I forgot to load the thing into the car once and whilst reversing I accidently drove over it (kids were in the car!!) - the thing is as sturdy as anything I have seen.

"lazy" - you try walking a lot with little feet and long distances. They are only lazy if you let them always stand on them - we only allow them on when they are tired.

Great item, great price

Ideal for when younger one is not feeling so good on the walk to/from school or when you've got two close together, don't need a twin buggy but want to let the older one have a rest from time to time.

We were concerned about whether it would wreck our pram so only put it on our cheap buggy but I have to say it's not caused any damage to the frame. Hanging bgs on handles causes more damage.
#11
Excellent price! Think I paid over £50 for mine with the postage.
We walk miles with ours and never had any problems. If I expected my 2 year old to walk without the buggy board we would take days to get to the shops.
#12
Great price but best suited to an older child (at least 3 years old). Younger kids would be better off using a Buggypod. As for the damage concern - it didn't damage our stroller. Extremely easy to fit and detach.

Been looking for one of these for ages but my local Tesco does not stock it & can't find it online, gutted. Good deal tho

Nope I used one for probably 6 months far better for them to have one of these than to be in a double buggy till they are 4 like some kids do. I have 20 months between my 2 I had a double buggy for 6 months then a buggy board for the next 6 months now she walks everywhere and has done for ages

and having a car to drive your kids everywhere will make them far more lazy than using a buggy board I dont have a car and dont drive so a buggy board on long shopping trips is a godsend
oh and they also have a good resale value sold mine for £15 on ebay 2nd hand so buy this use for 6 months and get your money back HOT!!
#15
wow thanks-thought i was the only one on here who shops in ystrad tesco's!!!
#16
none in my local!

Yeah, and when they've walked 10 miles shove them up the chimney and tell them to get sweeping

I would imagine the poster as most of today's adults did walk with "little feet"

I voted hot because these are normally much more expensive.

I recently considered getting one but there are reasons for the higher number of fat kids you see today.

I think they spend enough time sedentry and don't need to be sedentry when they are out and about.

I have 2 kids separated by 2 years any my solution is bugaboo cameleon for the younger and scooter / walk / run around for my older one when going out and they are "active".

when they are tired then, take them out in a phil & teds double.

Buggy boards can be great, but be aware when buying that your shins will take a battering & your back will ache from leaning forwards. It also invalidates the warranty on a pushchair.
I had 1 I managed to use once & I couldn't get on with it (but I do have back problems anyway). But some people swear by them :)

my local has them at full price - had them scanned but still full price

hope someone else has some better luck finding them discounted

Great price.

I had a buggy board when my kids were little, it is a godsend and no they are not unfit and get plenty of excercise. It was just used when their little legs were tired!!
#23
We bought one 2 years ago for £40 and its been used heaps, children get tired and bored this keeps them happy and you are able to keep moving.

Try carrying a 3 year old who is tired and pushing a little one in a pram too.....this is a godsend.

Voted HOT

These are an alternative for having two buggies or a double buggy, not for making your kids lazy you idiots!!

Yes I agree with you there, but I have seen so many people using these with older kids, to be honest why would any child over 3 need to be in ANY buggy-single,double or otherwise???
#30
I just got one from the Hindley branch...can't believe how cheap they are! I wouldn't trust Tesco systems cos i am most certainly in the North West....thanks OP i'm pleased wiv my little bargain! :-D

#34
drove to 3 different stores (quite close to each other) 2 didn't have any and 1 did. the one that did had 2 different boxes so took both to the till but they scanned at full price
#35
To all of those saying they make your kids lazy i bet you either don't have kids, or you drive?????

I don't drive and don't intend to as i am happy to walk or rely on the trains - for me personally it is cheaper as OH works for the rail. But i certainly will be investing in one of these when we have our second child purely for long days out. My daughter can walk for hours, but on a whole day out she will become shattered and worn out - she is too big for me to carry for more than 10mins at a time so this will be ideal. And no, my daughter, in fact none of us are in the slightest overweight as we are all very active and she still occasionally goes in a stroller if we are due to be out all day, even though she has just turned 3.
#36
Oh rats can't see it anymore. Thanks though!
#37
hi, where can i get one of these i cant see it on tesco website anywhere - do i need to go in store?
#38
hot price if you can find it.i paid £50 for mine and it was fab.as far as making kids lazy my son used it (not an ounce of fat on him) it meant i could keep him under control near busy roads etc dont use mine anymore but would recommend to anyone with a baby and toddler but without room at home for a double buggy (or money for a phil and teds !)
#39
little slow on this deal i'm afraid ;o)
do well to find it now.
