If your like me and going to be a parent (Dad) in the next month or two then you need one of these to get loved one back from the hospital.

As we are having Twins I needed a deal and boy what a deal.

Which? magazine's top pick. Littlewoods with vouchers reduce this from equivalent £99 to £44 delivered.

Add the car seat to the basket and add the following vouchers.

ZQ055 £20 off £50 plus free delivery
XX087 20% off or 10% off electronics (20% in this case)

This brings the price down to £44 delivered.

This was tried and tested this weekend and we took delivery of our 2 for our twins this morning :o)

Congratulations and good luck on the forthcoming birth, and a nice first deal :)

Normal price is only £54 delivered from Kiddicare anyway, shows the markup Littlewoods have on it

Afraid you are wrong there Deano.

The one you show is not the Carbiofix and can only be used with the seat belts.

The Cabriofix as this is can also be used with the easy fix and ISOFIX base.

A lot safer. You also can't fix the one you posted (Cabrio) onto push chairs such as the Quinny range. The cabriofix you can and pay about £30 more for the privilege.

Equivalent on kiddiecare in a different colour is £84.99 + delivery

Can't figure why this has been voted cold. It's hot! (if you need a car seat!)

Awesome price for an isofix seat, well found OP
#6

Oh yes you can. We have a Zapp and a Speedi SX and our Cabrio fits just fine with the supplied brackets.

My mistake. I stand corrected.

Although as you say you need brackets.

The cabriofix you don't (I believe)

Still an absolute bargain in my eyes. Just wat we were looking for at 50% the price we were probably going to have to pay. With having twins on the way 2 for 1 is always useful ;)
#9
Excellent, just what I was looking for, thanks for posting
#10
Looks a good price, voted hot.

Congrats with the twins :) I have 3 year old twin girls, trust me, you're in for a great time !!
#11
I also ordered two, the 20% was deducted from each (separate) order but the £20 off only came off the first one.
#12
Wohooo bargain, first one on the way so need all the bits ! I hate cold voters specially when you post bargains like this, they should just have a hot option no cold !
#13
EXPIRED! Now £80.
#14
Just ordered at £44, great offer!

Damn, forgot to go via quidco for a further 4.5% off!

Nope, there is one on littlewoods.com and one on littlewoodsdirect.com, both different prices. One is £80 and the other is something like £94?

Hi do you mind if I ask how you got it to work twice? Did you create 2 separate accounts? I got one at £44 and one at £67.50, both put through separately but both on my account. Many thanks :)
banned#18
Hi,

Of course I will tell you.

Like always if I need 2 or more bargain items from a site my wife & I both create accounts & if we need more than 2 we get family or friends to creat an account also to get the item at a bargain price.

Also you can register 1 account with littlewoods Direct & Littlewoods.com with the exact name & address, log in name, password etc & use the same codes ( well most of the time ) & you get the same deal.

Littelwoods direct were £80 for it - got 2 for £44 each
Littlewoods.com were £92 for it. - got 1 for £43.60 with codes on here. ( this was for one of my wife's friends who has just has a baby yesterday so she was so chuffed. ( this was in my name with the same log in, passwords etc )

So it can be done.

My motto is if you don't try it you won't get it at that price. If they notice it and cancel your order your no worse off but if you get it then you have just scooped a bargain!

What to do is return the dear one then get someone to register a new account then put through the codes to get it down to £44 or just return it then go through Littlewoods.com & use the codes on here, using the % one first then the £ off one.

Best of luck.

We have 1 delivered, 1 to be delivered on Mon then the last on Wed.

Don't just try things with these sites try it with all of them & also use the cashback sites for saving that little bit more. ( I use Quidco )

I do hope that has helped?
#19
That has helped, thanks! I was thinking of cancelling the dear one but was worried they may mess it up so I will return it once it gets here.

I actually ordered another this morning via my Mum so now we have 2 @ £44, one for my car and one for Dad's car. Many thanks! :friends:

Not at all - you have to use the codes that were posted to bring it down to £44! Still working - just tested!

I emailed this link to my mate and she tried to get it to work but couldn't. I tried for her and sure enough I can't get the price down this far. i used a £30 off one and then I tried a 20% off one but it says for bedding and curtains...
Can you tell us which ones to use for littlewoods.com?
:-D

Hi,

Re return to Littlewoods Direct, I think if you return any item to them they still charge you the p&p ( £3.50 ) so you would not get this back but even so £67 versus £47.50, no competition.

Re littlewoods.com codes, sorry bit of confusion happening there, my brother wanted a new mobile so the codes from Direct were used & they worked so he got a bargain but I used the codes:

XX066 £20 % off first order only - set up new account if ordered from them before.

ZG033 £30 off £60 New customers only - as above - new account

So put in 20% first then the £30 off one & you get it down to £43.60

I have not tested this again but take note you have to pay this over so many weeks as the codes won't work if you just want to pay it straight off with a visa/debit card etc.

To get round this, take the pay over so many weks option then wait for your item to arrive then phone up to pay the item in full by your visa/debit card then that's it. So roughly a week after you have ordered it you have paid in full for it. :-D

I have not retested this codes so sorry if they don't work now but passed all info onto friends family when I did all my orders & they all managed to get all thier items at bargain prices.

But remember to open a new account with L.com to get this.

I do hope it works for you & hope you understand all that, I tend to waffle on at times when I get going, :giggle:

Enjoy your bargains.

But remember a bargain is only a bargain if you need it or of course a profit if you are selling it on. TUT TUT :giggle:
#23
Thats right you dont get the p+p back unless an item is faulty
#24
Thanks mitsub. I tried again to order the one via littlewoods.com and the order went through fine but they still have not emailed me about either the registration or the order, and I am unable to log in on the site to check up on it's status. So I guess it is a waiting game to see if we pulled this one off. Will get my mate to try again herself using these codes and if we both end up getting one for her then you are right, one can be sold. Thanks aagain!

Hi Lally,

Well had a look on fleabay & if you end up with one to sell then it will be for a profit going by the end prices.

So that would make them to be even cheaper than £44 / £43.60 :giggle:

Now don't go starting a business for this now by getting friends & family to buy them for approx £44 & selling them for approx £70 :giggle:

That would be so so so BAD :giggle:

In my opinion you should not do this! :giggle:

Anyway glad I could be of help to you as I'm never any help to anyone else - or so they say!

Kind regards.
banned#26
Me again Lally,

If you need a car seat base to go with this you can either get the Maxi Cosi Easy Base or the Maxi Cosi Easyfix Base.

What is the difference I here you ask.

Well the Easy Base can be fixed by a 3 point seatbelt only & the Easyfix Base can be fixed by the 3 point seatbelt or the isofix points ( in newer cars only, you can get them install in your car but at what cost I don't know ) or you can use the 3 point seatbelt with the isofix points if you have a newer car with them already installed.

I do hope you followed that. :?

The easy base is about £60 or so. The easyfix base about £90. ( both new )

In my opinion you would be better off with the easyfix base as it's proven to be more secure etc plus even if you don't have the isofix points in your car you may purchase a new car soon or if you don't you may have another baby after that & a new car so I would make that my excuse for buying that one.

I know , I go on & on don't I

Any other info you need, then don't ask me as I'm dizzy with working all this baby lark out myself. Only joking if I can help I will but if not I'm sure there are many on here willing to help out & are more experienced than me in this subject.

Oh & if I've got anything wrong on here then please point it out asap or Lally & me will be out of pocket buying all the wrong stuff:giggle:

Kind regards

This is a GREAT deal !! I've been looking at these for a while.

They sold out in the recent boots sale before I could get an advantage card and that was at £79.99.

Just ordered mine at £44, you've got me some real brownie points with my misses.

Thanks

Anyone got a good price for the isofix base. My best is £84 off ebay.

Yep I have seen it for a few places online for around £80. shop closeby has them for £82.99 instore so I think we are going to go for that, they can fit it.

Mitsub, thanks for all the advice but we had already decided on the Easyfix base. Was just waiting to see if the carseat came first. The discount on the seat has reduced our overall cost so that is fab.

PS I am now able to log into the littlewoods site and it is showing the 20% discount but not the £30 one...just need to wait and see if they credit it to my account. Even if they don't it is still a saving. :-D
#32
I posted earlier but it does not seem to have registered....was just saying thanks for all your help, and we are going for the Easyfix base too.

Hi! I am usually a lurker but I had to register in order to post about this amazing deal. :-D
I tried to order 2 also. The first (Littlewoods Direct) went through fine and my statement is showing the correct amount. The Littlewoods one went through fine but my stament is showing a balance of £73.60 so the 20% discount came off but not the £30. I opted for a term of 20 weeks.
Should I call them? I know on most forums it usually says DO NOT CALL as it will alert them to what we are all doing.
Also to clarify I registered a new account on both sites but used the same username and password as it says previously that this was OK to do.
Many thanks

Hi,

Cancel order on littlewoods.com if they are only giving you 20% off. ( you will not lose any money with them as they don't charge for p&p )

Get someone else to open a new account with littlewoods direct & use the same codes as you did originally ( your, wife, husband, partner, some family member, will do for a new account.

.Com must have been have noticed the two codes getting used & have put a stop to it but that does not mean direct has.Try & see with them.

Bet someone has phoned .com & asked about codes & that has alerted them to people using the 2 codes.:x

Get going quick on direct before they do the same thing.

Best of luck.

Kind regards.
#36
I will cancel the .com one, thank you for your advice. Just to clarify, when you say "Get going quick on direct before they do the same thing" what did you mean by that. Was that for me, should I not open the box just in case they tell me the codes were not valid after all? Or was this for new people to the thread telling them to order quickly?
#37
littlewoods.com have charged 66 for my car seat.

It arrived this morning. Can I question them on this over the phone?

It stated on my printed invoice when i checked out that the bill would only be £44.
banned#38
Check your credit card bill.

With ours they got wise to me using the code on the same credit card too many times.

The £23.50 gets re-credited but the 20% is taken off.

So your CC gets charged £66 but then £23.50 gets credited.

We did not mind paying the slightly extra for the 2nd car seat as it meant we got £180 worth of car seat for £108.

We also used the code to buy foot muff's, baby monitor, deep fat fryer.

All in all we got

2 x Car seats
2 x Maxi Cosi foot muffs
1 x Tomy Baby Monitor
1 x Deep fat fryer (Treat for mum and dad to be)

Total original cost - £300 for a total of £145 delivered :giggle:

Now who else can I register accounts as.

Good luck to all the mum's and dad's to be. Glad we could make some mega savings.

As a side note. I have been looking at the ISOFIX base and not found any cheap yet. But we are still searching.

Twins Mitsub?

Our twin girls are due sometime in the next 7 weeks.

Starting get nervous and twitchy.

I jump everytime my phone rings and the words "Wife" come up on the screen.

One of the seats arrived today. No instructions in it. I know for a fact there should be quite a thick instruction book there as I was looking at the seats in Mothercare the other day and it was tagged onto the straps. I had a play with it so I don't break my own one :giggle: It isn't in the wee compartment at the back either. I think you should be able to download instructions if need be.
