Safety is the key word where child car seats are concerned. As a parent you want a car seat that is safe and strong and is also easy for everyday use, preferably without any complicated messing about with seat belts. It is an extra advantage if the seat is comfortable and looks good as well.
Maxi-Cosi car seats have it all. The Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix in combination with this Maxi Cosi EasyFix base uses the innovative IsoFix car seat system, an attachment system that is built into a lot of new cars. Its main advantage - with one click the car seat is fitted quickly and with optimum safety.
Studies show that up to 80% of all car seats are fitted incorrectly or not securely enough in the car and for this reason Maxi Cosi has developed two models of car seats that use the IsoFix attachment system that is safe and easy to use.
IsoFix fittings are an integral part of the car seat and are attached directly to the car body. An extra leg supports the car base and provides additional stability and safety.

Seems a lot just for the base, I'd be expecting seat for that too.

i don't understand why people aren't voting this hot?

just because it's a relatively expensive piece of equipment doesn't mean that it's not a hot deal when you can find it for £30 cheaper, 72% of the rrp.

you may think that this is expensive but if somebody, like me has a compatible pushchair that goes with the maxi cosi seat then this is perfect to add extra safety to your in car seat.

30% off of any rrp is generally not to be sniffed at.

are you sure that's the isofix version or just the standard version that fixes in with a seatbelt?
