Have been looking for ages trying to find the Maxi Cosi Pebble and the FamilyFix Isofix Base and have found this to be the cheapest by far.

I know its quite a bit but this seems to be the best price I have found esp as Halfords are doing 10% off and 2 x £10 vouchers! It is a saving of another £24.60 (total) over the cheapest price I have seen.

Best of all, you can go for quidco and get it delivered/pickup in store!

holy macaroni that's expensive!!!! I bought the same items but held out for deals. Eventually managed to get the maxi cosi carseat for £68 from John Lewis when they were on clearance and got the isofix base for £70 from amazon. If you have time left before the baby arrives I would def get into the habit of checking websites daily for price cuts and promotions because you will save loads! check tesco direct, amazon, john lewis, kiddicare, mothercare.

A maxi-cosi pebble for £68!! You sure it wasnt the Cabriofix and this is the better isofix base than the other one they do and the new Pebble.

Trust me I have done the looking around and this is a saving

The same car seat at Amazon is £120

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Maxi-Cosi-Pebble-Group-Seat-Black/dp/B002YK51Y4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby&qid=1283714002&sr=8-1

Familyfix base isnt even available from Amazon, the easybases are but they are not compatible with the next size car seat (the Pearl) so you would have to buy another base, etc. Familyfix allows for you to use this on for the Pearl

Pebble Seat Amazon - £120

Family fix base £120 ish

Yep okish deal but you can if you shop around get cheaper.

Remember John Lewis will price match this.

i think this is over priced, i would never pay this for a carseat no matter what name was on it, i think you can get ones of the same quality much cheaper.

Why not buy the Family Fix base and Cabriofix seat seperately? This would do the same job and work out cheaper £113 + £90 = £203.

Gutted cause I ordered a cabriofix for £99.99 on Tuesday which hasn't been delivered yet and is now £10 cheaper. I've emailed then asking if I can have a £10 refund.

I went for the Familyfix as I will be going for the Pearl once he is old enough and the Pebble as it was the new version and had some extras that the Cabriofix didnt.

The reason for the Maxi Cosi range was beacuse it went on the iCandy buggy aswell that we are getting.

Well it might help someone out there!! Good luck with the refund

what the point of getting a pearl just to fit on the base?
There isn't much point of removing it once in place unlike the cabriofix/pebble!
Get the cheaper cabriofix and base and save your cash!

i have the cabriofix, use the familyfix for it. pealr is for stage 2

I have the cabriofix and a isofix base which I couldn't live without . My friend has the pebble on the familyfix base and its quite a narrow so if you have quite a large one year old it would be quite tight makes my toddlers Tobi look massive and that i think is the smallest of the next stage range.

Also I really rate the recaro range for the next stage even though some aren't isofix they are excellent seats !

I agree that Maxi Cosi are expensive but I have a Citroen C1 and the seat belts are not long enough to fit around standard car seats so ISOFIX is the only way for me, a family fix is ideal as I will be able to fit the next stage seat to it aswell.
