This car seat is also £250 in Argos, i have just checked the WHICH review and for the category of stage 1 car seat it is given a rating of 75%, 2nd in the list of car seats reviewed. It is only 3% lower than number 1 as it lost a few marks for its ease of fitting in a car.

Has anyone got one of these? Are they worth the large amount of money that they are?

Little bit cheaper in Halfords

Are they worth the large amount of money that they are?

Depends on if you have a crash i guess, get the best in the crash tests you can afford i say :)

Just brought the Maxi Cosi Axiss - Much better than this, and just £165 from Amazon!

Sorry - COLD from me!

Have to completely disagree with you, as this is a completely different animal. The axiss is just a seat that swivels, utilising the exisiting seatbelts in the car to secure, however, the priorifx is an ISOFIX seat which takes advantage of the isofix points in your car (if they are fitted).

For me it was a no brainer, the priorifix seat has 2 seperate indicators that show when the seat is correctly fitted, which meant for me it was a no-brainer. It is far too easy to fit a seat incorrectly. For the sake of a few quid I plumped for this seat, and I have to say its fantastic! We have done many thousands of miles around the continent and transferred it between our two cars (which both have isofix) effortlessly. it will also fit with seatbelts if necessary.

A good seat at a good price - If you want excellent safety for your priceless cargo - go for it!
I said no-brainer twice.

Think I'm having a no-brainer day!
Bobafett I think you'll find the which crash tests rate the priorifix as best in test, where the axxis didn't fare so well.

And comparing apples with oranges and saying they're cheaper doesn't make sense does it?
Obviously there are other models of Maxi Cosi seats available, but I think this is a Great price for the Isofix seat
extra 10% at halfords now £178.10 delivered which is the same price as the other day without the 10% ripping off gits
