Or put in maximum effort & consume plenty of protein & creatine and get better results than if you just put in maximum effort. It's called science, you should look it up.

I do take the mickey out of 'roid monkeys' as I am of a lean footballer in build rather than boxer! But I have to say creatine does work it is proven and will help results from going to the gym, not to make you huuuuuuge but to add a bit of size to your arms or any muscle your working out (insert joke!) which cannot be a bad thing. You do have to work out though, it isnt a magic potion, take it and dont work out and you'll bang weight on.

are we not supposed to be commenting on the price of the deal not the results or whether we think the product is a good idea?

if we start commenting on stuff we dont want to use then i will automatically vote cold anything that is alcohol based or gardening or arsenal etc etc etc

You could get this deal slightly cheaper buying from Maximuscle directly buying 3 for £99 and getting 10% cashback from Quidco. This would take it down to about £30 each for 3.

But for a one off purchase this is a hot price which is what this forum is supposed to be about.

This stuff is sh**. Much better available for less. Go to discount supplements and have a geez. Id reccomend optimum health whey over this.

it may be on offer but it isnt a good deal.
try www.myprotein.co.uk
they should have their own page on this site there prices are so good.
(no i dont work for them, i just buy from them)

I recommend Orange Blast from MuscleForm.co.uk... more refreshing compared to chocolates... think i got double the mix for the same price!!

People dont need to take protein, but in comparison to the amount of food you would need to consume to account for extra training this stuff is a bargain!! Plus its its fat free!!

Great prices on myprotein but postage is a rip off, even though I am mainland UK they want to charge me £6.95 for delivery which takes the price of the protein delivered way above other places. Superfit have decent prices with free delivery.

there better ones out there and cheaper.

'Addicted to the gym because they aren't good at any sports'

I love it.

Been using that 'orrible stuff from H&B, been looking at other sites and heard good things about myprotein but their postage charges suck. Is Maximuscle any good?

Weightlifting and bodybuilding are sports!

Even if you play football weightlifting will improve your game massively. Bodybuilding is very vain, and lots of people do it to compensate, but yeah... weightlifting isn't about looking good, its about strength.

Also myprotein is cheaper than this... If you can, just eat 2-3 chicken breasts a day instead of this stuff, as its better for you!

I second myprotein.co.uk. Get 5kg of their impact whey protein, and use their website's price-match option to price match with bulkpowders.

As for these people pigeonholing anyone who uses supplements as your typical vain bulky, 'roider, get a grip! Some people want to just tone up or lose weight, and whey protein is a very useful way of getting sufficient protein for muscle repair after a workout. I don't see any problem with self improvement for both aesthetic and health reasons.

Not proper sports they're not.

*confused* Define "proper".

Anything that can b done competitively is a sport.
Fishing is a sport.

And judging by some people on this thread, talking through your asses is as well.

It seems to be recognised by the IOC as a sport.

Not everyone who goes to the gym is a body builder! Pretty naive to think professionals who play football, rugby, tennis, golf, etc, etc don't go to the gym to build and tone muscles.
