Cracking Price. Voted Hot !

Dammit just bought a WD one for £47 - is 120Gb though. 60Gb would've done me.
#3
you beat me to posting! great deal, just bought one.

a bare 60 gig laptop drive costs way more than that!
#4
this is an awesome price!
#5
I nearly bought one - shame it has a power adaptor!

(Voted Hot)
#6

Power supply is not required if connected to a powered USB port.

You beat me too it.
Fantastic Deal and I dont think it does have a power adapter.
The Maxtor III 120gig version is described as bus powered so you might want to check that.

Also I got mine for only £22.58 including delivery (with google checkout)
Did you use the supersaver delivery?

Voted hot as at around £20 this is in the same price bracket as USB stick and has 10 times as much memory.

Cost me £24.69 when I bought one, that's odd. Did you go to the final stage?

Edit - you're right, they seem to have added a 20% shipping discount since I posted the thread and made my purchase!!! :(
Anything I can do about this?
#11
Well if that 20% discount is based on weight you should have got the discount.
Try e-mailing them.

If it's any consolation the HUKD users will soon drive the price back up, :p

sorry that by the time I sorted out the pic on my post above I just seemed to be repeating the two previous posts. =(
I'm just too slow today.

Bought one of these {£22.58} Brilliant
#13
Brilliant cheers! Just ordered one now :)

Had a nightmare with backups the other day, basically I lost all of my work two days after I sold my 120GB backup drive because I thought I didn't need it, lol!
#14

Although the specs don't mention Mac, I can't see why not. I'd say it's worth the risk for £22.58
#21
I got charged £24.69 too. Just checked and they've changed the weight from 1kg to 0.41 kg so the postage drops in price. I'm going to email them.

Yes, it will though you may want/need to reformat it. However its backup software definitely won't work since that is Windoze specific. See the 'Specifications' tab on the link http://www.maxtorsolutions.com/en/catalog/OTIII_Mini/.

I'm just about to buy it as well for my iMac.

Hey, don't forget Quidco's 0.1% :p
#23
Just ordered 3,thanks for post.
Heat and rep added.

#29
Is it really worth the hassles of e-mails and phone calls for ~£2? :P

I'm sure it wouldn't work out as being a very good hourly rate.
#30
Excellent price. Ordered one.
#31
Just cancel existing order and place new order, no?
#32
so does this work like a usb stick then ? or ide cables, thx
#33
Just registered to say - WHAT A DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#34
anyone ordered it for more than 22.58 u might want to cancel and reorder or send them email
#35
I'm just amazed ebuyer haven't done their usual trick of raising the price of popular items yet - even after selling over 250 of them since trojan698 first posted it.
#36
Can the Google checkout £10 off be used more than once?
#37
amazing deal, thanks

Yup. Just the same. If you plug it straight into a USB port on your PC / laptop you usually won't need the power supply, either.

Yes, it can - once per order.

It'll work fine with a Mac, as long as it has a USB port (i.e. if it was built this century).
