Fantastic Deal and I dont think it does have a power adapter.
The Maxtor III 120gig version is described as bus powered so you might want to check that.
Also I got mine for only £22.58 including delivery (with google checkout)
Did you use the supersaver delivery?
Voted hot as at around £20 this is in the same price bracket as USB stick and has 10 times as much memory.
Cost me £24.69 when I bought one, that's odd. Did you go to the final stage?

I'm just too slow today.
Had a nightmare with backups the other day, basically I lost all of my work two days after I sold my 120GB backup drive because I thought I didn't need it, lol!
Although the specs don't mention Mac, I can't see why not. I'd say it's worth the risk for £22.58
