if just say some tom tom software was to fall out of my hard drive and land inside this sat nav unit (hypothetically of course) would it work?

in this one it would definetly work, it's based on windows mobile

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/161002#

i got iGO 8 + plays AVIs in divx/xvid format...which is cool for when waiting for someone, mine came with 2GB SanDisk SD card, with 4gb you can get a lot of episodes and stuff on there for when you wait for someone

im sure the bigger screen size model is the exact same

[SIZE="2"]In the mobilenavigator folder (TomTom) there is another directory called art, and in that another one called cars

In there you will find icons for the pointer on screen

If you take a photo of the back of your vehicle at the lowest camera res you have, then crop it square, then resize it to 80x80 pixels and use MSPAINT to shade the outside of the car to the edge of the picture RED, then save (BMP format) into the cars directory

You can then choose your car as the icon on screen

I only know this beacuse ive had to do 3 satnavs this lunchtime
