Not my cup of tea - also no mention finance on there for that car thing (pickup)! Your pic a bit misleading

It's a lot of car (pick-up) for the money. Very reliable to.

Actual price after £5000 scrappage allowance is £6,425 plus VAT. So the posted price above needs changing. Still dirt cheap, if you have a 10yo car...

If this pans out then it rocks! Lot of manly metal for the money!

So thats 6425+VAT with scrappage allowance for the 2 wheel drive single cab pickup.

11K+VAT after discount for the cheapest double cab.

Voted hot, 6 grand discount is not to be sniffed at if you have a scrapper to trade in.

Cheers, Des.

Doest the price include vat, cant see it saying plus vat?
#8
£7388.75 with vat

Does the single cab only have 2 seats?
#9

yup 2 seats, but doesnt it include vat?

The prices for this model quoted will EXCLUDE VAT.
Also, I have rang my brother, who works at a main dealer... he says that the £6K scrappage allowance for the BT-50 is only on the Intrepid model, smaller allowances apply to the other BT-50 models, that is from the main dealers mouth!!!...The Intrepid is the most expensive model at around £18.5K + VAT without scrappage.

What really does annoy me at the moment is how every new car manufacturer quote in adverts the new car prices , then add in small writing 'with scrappage allowance'.. not everybody in the market for a brand new car has had a car older than 10 years old for over a year to part - ex!!!
#12
would love to get this but my car only 2 years old :(
#13
So you can't get any model for £6,425 with or without vat....or can you, website suggests you can?
#14
i'm afraid it will look more like the car on the picture below, rather than the one in first post

http://liveimages.carsales.com.au/carsales/car/spec/MAZD1239.jpg

still look sexy, have alloy wheels, etc :lol2:
#15
The post is incorrect as only available on the £21k intrepid model and not the £12k base model
#16
It says on the mazda website from £6425, do you have information otherwise?

Yes it'll be interesting to know who has actually bought these 102000 cars via the scrappage scheme as I would have thought if you're a person driving a 10yr old car you are the least likely person to have £6000 to £10000 of spare cash. So then you have to borrow it which helps the 'poor' (ahem!) banks... so much for credit reform.

I can't help think it would have been better to allocate the scrappage scheme money to giving a 15% discount off a new car and then they could have used the old chestnut (and ad-man's favourite) "VAT FREE!" slogan again.

Thanks, nice to know.
Im actually thinking of using this scrappage scheme as i have a 10 year old car worth nothing.
Looking to get best deal as in "best price to second hand price" to maybe sell on straight away or in a year or so. Looks like this could turn a profit, any better deals out there?

Mods please unexpire or op please post this deal again, ( with right pic this time) someone spammed it so maybe it cant be unexpired.

Was just about to repost, but they have removed the £6425 price on the website now only on the top priced model.
Might be a mistake?
