Sorry if this has been posted before.

I was looking for a good credit card with a decent balance transfer offer and came across this deal. Looks like a great offer with just 1.9% on balance transfers for 12 months.

For example if I get a £4000 credit limit then I would be able to transfer money into my current account and the fee would just be £76 !

Sorry I may be wrong. So would like advice from our experts here :)

Sounds good as others although give 0% interest charge at least 2.5 to 3% handling fee so this is a much better deal.

sorry I think you are wrong, the card has no fee for doing the transfer to your account but you have an interest rate of 1.9% for 12 months. This is just a different flavour of other cards that normally give you 0% for 12 months or so but charge you 3-4% to do the transfer known as a handling fee.

still not a bad card depends on how long you intend on taking to repay the £££££££

Santander Zero does 0% interest for 6 months and it has no fee to transfer the balance within the first 3 months in case it helps

But I just took out the Platinum with MBNA and the offer was 6.9 life of balance.......a much better deal for me as sick of surfing.....so cold.

It's a good rate for a vredit card. Remember though, credit cards are the worst avenue of taking out a loan.

Came here to see if this had been posted myself, I think its a pretty decent deal. Clear the debt in 12 months and its less expensive than the 16 month deals with 2.9 fees.

Good benefit of the long term interest free cards is putting the money aside and earn interest off it till the intro rate expires but with this you're effectively getting 1.9% savings rate (tax free) on everything you pay over the minimum.

I think you'll struggle to find a CC that doesnt charge for cash advances and they usually have a minimum fee of 3% anyway!

And loading up a gambling site with a CC is still a cash advance, again this is pretty standard across all providers not just MBNA

Would not use MBNA if my life depended on it. I have just payed off my card because they are so bad i wanted nothing more to do with them. I pay my bills on the 1st of the month by standing order and always pay more than is needed so was surprised to see late payment charges. the reason...I payed my bills on the first of the month and they do not issue statements till the 2nd although it can be upto the 5th, and the due date is middle of the month. So they counted my payments as additional payments in the previous month and then as no payment was made between 4th and 20th charged fees. When i pointed out the fact that i had payed every month always on time and always more than needed they agreed i was a good payer and still did not retract any fees. Customer service was shocking. DO NOT USE MBNA
