Hot, but is this a 12 month price, or lifetime?

Same here. Reviews for this package is very lucklustre but this is the cheapest I've seen by bar.

I'm using Norton Internet Security 2009 and it's really good this year. Ultra lightweight and very good protection. It has gotten very good reviews. Can be had for not much more than this.

ive heard kapinskys 2009 is best by a mile and i think amazon have or had it for around £17 to protect up to 3 separate computers in your home .

McAfee Total Protection just did well in PC Pro's head to head tests.
#7
ESET Smart Security is the best...

If you have a PC that is as old as the hills yeah, it will slow it down. If, on the other hand you have a half decent modern PC then it'll run McAfee fine. AVG is absolute cack in my book.

AVG? You mean the one that's BROKEN people's PC's and disabled Flash?

I'm sorry, but I prefer my antivirus not to break my PC more than some viruses can ;)

It's done other silly things in the past, but, I'm sure these very recent (November 2008!) examples will illustrate my point :)

For anyone wondering, the voucher code to use is MC0811266339pC103804663

good price for this product, but still wouldn't touch mc afee with a barge pole let alone letting it loose on my pc.

As per usual, an Internet Security deal throws up the usual "It's terrible, I know better ones, why pay when you can download free ones, this runs slow, this runs fast etc etc":?

It's the guys first deal. He's kindly posted this McAfee deal that appears to be the best deal around. Isn't this site supposed to be how good the exact deal is, NOT to say other stuffs better.;-)

I prefer Kaspersky but still voted hot because this deal IS for McAfee. If people want to post different deals for other Internet security packages at bargain prices then good for them, but why can't we avoid the same comments like we get whenever someone posts a Dell deal then get all the people saying they can build ones cheaper?:whistling:

Almost bought it, however it's a download not a disc which i could have saved for when my Norton subscription runs out.
I take it a download subscription starts immediately?

Thanks, heat added. I've got pre-installed Norton & I need to get rid of it! Plus AVG killed my last laptop, so I am not going to be using it again, I'd prefer a slightly slower system to a dead one!
