Yep got it last week at my local, basically paying for the tray for £1 (not sure if that's actually worth it) as it does peel off

Hope this deal isn't like the 2 for £7 chocolate lol, just kidding, will gladly stock up

how lazy are people that they can't even do roast potatoes? Chips I can understand (prep time is astronomical and typically people lack a frier etc) - but roast potatoes...

:( I didn't get a free roast tin when I had my delivery

Do they start tomorrow?

Not suitable for vegetarians as has beef dripping.

Free trays with purchase will still continue whilst the stocks last. As for the starting date it could be tomorrow. I will post in the morning if so

So what?

So nothing, it's just an observation - you are welcome to lacklustre potatoes if that's what you're into

You can't just label any of who uses frozen roast pots as 'lazy'. Some people prefer them; some don't have the time; some genuinely know f'all about cooking so have no choice.

That could be said about people going out to eat, easy to cook at home if you wanted to, and people don't always have potatoes stocked in their kitchen

Agreed, and I'd say the same thing for a roast at a pub - the potatoes are never as good as when you make them yourself. However your stock issue is a moot point, it's not as if Christmas is on some random day and no one knows what it is.

Lol I certainly ain't buying them for xmas, I am stocking up (2 bags) for whenever I do need them when I have ran out of potatoes or can't be bothered to cut it

if you do them properly they take ages, loads more prep & faffing than chips! but you obviously know that as you are Masterchef the invincible..

Cold. Aldi are doing 1kg of potatoes for 19p and they're vegetarian, unlike these monstrosities oO

Bought today along with free tin. I am sorry if that makes me lazy even though I certainly don't feel like I am given all the other things I have to make. I usually do homemade but I have so many other things to do on the day that I thought this would be great! ;)

Who'd have thunk a deal on roast potatoes would bring out angst in people.

Tomorrow's is a cadburys selection chocolate, then beef dripping and sprouts one day. Can't remember the rest.
