thought this was a cracking offer

The M46-500CD is a high quality 46cm cut self propelled lawnmower made by McCulloch.
The 46cm metal blade is housed in a long lasting steel deck. 5 heights of cut (between 20 - 70mm) make achieving your preferred grass height quick and easy. The grass is collected in a large 50 litre plastic grassbox, meaning less emptying, and more time at the job in hand.

Your M46-500CD is easy to keep clean after mowing, thanks to a handy deck wash facility. Simply connect your hose pipe and turn on the tap.

Moving around your garden area with your M46-500CD is easy and effortless, thanks to the self propelled facility.

Power is provided by a Briggs & Stratton 158cc 500 series engine, known worldwide for reliability and performance. With this partnership you have a quality lawn mower with the very best in engine technology delivering cut after cut, year after year.

I have owned this model for 2 years (When Wickes were flogging them for £99) and it is a lovely mower only gripe I have is, I wish it would cut the grass just a bit lower than it does on the lowest setting, The 20mm setting is more like an inch plus

Great price, was needing a petrol mower but was going to wait until Spring, at this price can't refuse, heat added.

Likewise - my existing lawnmower is on its last legs and is the push type. This is perfect - and I'll leave it boxed up until next spring.

Hell, a strimmer doesn't cost much less than this!

I got this mower on the Homebase £100 deal & it's great.

I would buy at this price, it's a £200 + mower

Bought one of these last year, as a previous poster said it does not cut below 20mm which is a pain so if you want a cut that will last more than 5 days this isnt for you as its really a "rough cutter", other gripe is that its fine. on level lawns but pathetic on banks especially when damp as it has very little grip on the tyres and slides all over, I have to use my hover mower which this was bought to replace to cut the banky parts of the garden.
When I bought mine straight from the manufacturer it had a "free" oil offer which never arrived and when I contacted them they said they had no record of my sale, sent them a copy of the invoice but heard nothing more, lets hope it dosent go wrong in its guarantee period, mind you it wasnt bought from Amazon who I have always found "up front" with complaints.

If the blade spindle is long enough, try putting some washers behind the blade.

Ordered this this afternoon at £132.31. Fab price! Been thinking of getting a petrol mower for a few weeks so this is ideal!

Strange it's expired. I assumed that Amazon was getting rid of summer stock. Checked when placing my order earlier and the ordering system was happy to let me put 99 in my basket at the £132 price. I doubt they've sold that many. Must be an automated thing, to push the price back up after a surge in orders.
