Not sure if this is just a local offer but Bradford Thornbury had this deal on a banner..

*Either 2 Big Macs, 2 Fillet O'Fish or 2 McChicken Sandwiches
and
*Either 3 Cheese Burgers or 3 Fish Finger portions
and
*5 Medium fries
and
*5 Medium soft drinks

Sounds good to me!

healthy/unhealthy is a different matter..

its a good deal.. therefore.. HEAT..

All the people saying it's unhealthy, don't you realise that nothing is healthy these days in britian? Even your "organic" sausages.
#13
Roll on heart disease and obesity and an early death. Parents who feed their children this kind of **** day in and day out should have their kids taken off them.

Of course there is still plenty of heatlhy alternatives out there. Easily available. But what i do realise is that our lazy nation is becoming even more lazy and can't be bothered to cook, think about what they are eating.

Macdonald's isn't as bad as it used to be, but the fat content (especially saturated fats) are still massively high, especially for children. Not bad once in a while (however people's interpretation of 'while' change a lot!) but i know so many how live and feed their children off Macdonald's and fast food.

I'm not a organic health freak by the way either, i just have a balanced diet.

Lol! Name is Greensprout and posting McDonald deals, who cares though it's a great deal! It's McDonald's don't expect anything healthy from it...

If you are feeding them this stuff every day its bad, but if you do it once or twice a month whilst taking your kids out to somewhere that is already ludicrously expensive, as most family days out seem to be, then this is a good way for a hard pressed family to enjoy a day out without adding too much expense on top in the way of food.

This would usually set you back:

2 x Big Mac Meals: £3.69 x 2
3 x Cheeseburgers: £0.89 x 3
3 x Medium Fries: £0.99 x 3
3 x Medium Drink: £0.99 x 3

For a total of £15.99

Why do people like you grouper always find a soapbox to preach from and who the hell do you think you are making such sweeping statements. I'd be very surprised to find anyone who feeds this to their kids day in day out....come on get a life and find something more meaningful to do with your time. Sometimes a once a month treat doesn't hurt and at this price what a bargain treat that would be.

I agree with previous peeps this site is about deals and good prices, and this post clearly meets both so heat and rep added good find my fellow bradfordian.

I have managed to avoid McDogpoo with my children however one of mine was round a friends house and the mum took them to McDogpoo without asking me. I was livid. Thankfully mine are raised on fresh fruit, veg and decent meat and so he refused to eat any of it. Proud of him.

Especially when cooking a full meal for the family from scratch would likely cost you half of this cost, be healthier, save the money on getting to the McDonalds, taste better ...

However as a quick snack for the family on a day out somewhere this deal isn't bad, and if you rarely eat fast food it's not a problem. Two or three times a year is okay (+ friday night kebabs occasionally).

I know i shouldn't but i eat a McD's probably on average once a week, I generally eat healthy throughout the rest of the week but it's easy on a Sunday lunch when I'm usually at work.

But by McD's own statistics that classes me as a "super heavy user" eek :|

good god people - its a deal - end of - if whoever chooses to eat it eats it then thats their lookout.

This place aint what it used to be...

We all like to think we do eat healthy , and we SHOULD do more!
But for the majority of people in town or driving around a burger meal at under £4 is a quick easy fix for something to eat.
I am not saying it's good for you FAR FROM IT, but it tatstes good people like it, people should'nt smoke or drink either, but hey that life S**T happens.

I think most of you are missing the point. I have fed my 3 children McDonalds now 3 or 4 times a week for about 5 years. If you balance out the so called 'bad' foods with diet coke this brings the calories down to a normal meal such as fish and chips or cottage pie etc. I also find that children who are slighly bigger sleep longer and are not as hyperactive. Great deal saves me loads.

this will save me a fortune if nationwide as i go here every day for my lunch and my dinner should just about manage to eat it all! yum lol

I really dont understand why people take time out to come and check this deal out and explain why they would never feed mcdonalds to there children.

This is a deals site. Just because you wont eat there doesnt mean you should vote it a cold "deal"

People shock me..they really do

I don't think it's anything to do with being posh. Just healthy, and it's not the people on this board I worry about, I am more concerned about the kids. Advertising aimed at kids for this junk food has been banned since April 07, which is a reflection of that sentiment. This is a family deal so by definition would include kids.

huh? please tell me your being sarcastic!!!! You feed your kids mcdonalds 3 or 4 times A WEEK!!!!!!. You could save yourself hundreds of pounds a year by cooking healthy food at home. This deal is good for a one off, even mcdonalds themselves say that you shouldn't regularly eat there!!!
