#4
Full moon, half moon, total eclipse here i come!! Great find

If you don't have a Co-op nearby, Asda are doing two packs of 3 boxes for £3 - so 50p per box of 12. :)

McVities may have invented them, and for years knowing no better, I bought them, but they are plain dross, dry and tasteless compared to many available in most of the low price supermarkets, normally about 55 to 65p price range for twice this amount.
Netto, Aldi and Lidl (bought some today!) are all better, there are other budget versions around, but I haven't tried them.

Here's a review of the Lidl ones:

Two questions
a) Do you work for Lidl?
b) Are you located somewhere remote in a rubber room struggling with a straight jacket? You are clearly insane is the point I'm trying to make

Thanks a lot.

Sorry but the fact is your objecting to a deal and voting cold simply because you think another brand is better. Its like the people who cold vote any Playstation or Wii post because they have an XBox. Why not post a deal for Lidl jaffa cakes if you think they're so much better? Also pointing people to a review actually on the Lidl website....not exactly going to be unbiased are they?

Is this Co Operative food or is it Co-Op?
#11
Just the regular Co-Op that does groceries etc......

 I absolutely agree - Tesco Value (62p for 24) are nicer - softer sponge and lovely flavour!

I don't think offering a cheaper (and in my opinion better) alternative to a deal should be classed as "objecting to a deal" - surely this is just some constructive advice for those sensible enough to try it out?

3 packs £1 at heron normally or 69p for 24 but tbh since the recipe change Mc'v jaffa cakes are horrible and making the plastic packaging Orange does not add flavour FFS.
#14
Seen in Farm Foods 3 for a quid so not Hot....
#15
is it just on the orange ones or does it cover the blackcurrant ones too?
#16
Just the old school orange I'm afraid
#17
There are black currant Jaffa Cakes!? I feel like my world's just been tipped upside down...

Cheers for the tip, though I'll check Farmfoods first as someone said, they still haven't converted their prices into decimal currency in there, so you'll tend to find prices like this on sweets, crisps and all that stuff all year round!

I like M&S Jaffa Cakes the best. I've tried most brands and supermarkets own and in my opinion the M&S ones are the best, well they're my fave anyway.

McVities also do Blackcurrant, Lemon and Lime, Cranberry and Orange flavours, although these are hard to come by. They used to do a 3 pack with Orange, blackcurrant and lemon and lime in :P

+1 for lidl cakes
really like the lemon +lime mcvities though - need a lidl version of them.
co-op generally way overpriced in my area and no way i am going just for jaffa cakes anyway.
