is this any good to keep cash inside? it weighs 6.5kg so it can be picked up and taken by robbers pretty easily.

You'd want to securely bolt it down, I'd suggest resin in studs into a concrete floor or a wall with very large washers over the nuts as the metal is thin.
.
It doesn't mention a cash rating, and it is only 2mm thick, so wouldn't be much more difficult to cut open than this fire safe:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRTnJVwYkJs

Still it is a step up from the electronic ones you can open with a potato.

not if you bolt it down in a tight space, where it is hard to get a crow bar to

Two very study bolts are supplied. You can either secure on the floor/wall.

I just hide my money inside hollowed out books, it is the safest place. Because crooks are stupid and don't read.

These are a cracking buy all you need is a bit of imagination and some fireshield plasterboard. Find a suitable corner of a cupboard, fix safe to floor, either concrete fixings or large coach screws through to floor joist. then encase in 3-4 layers of plasterboard (glued together) removable lid. Cover it with plywood, fill any gaps with painters mate and paint it and the interior of the cupboard (next time you decorate). You can run a couple of pipes into the side of it to make it look like an encased pipe junction.
I do NOT have one of these in my home as I am mostly skint, but I have installed a couple of them for relatives.
Most thieves are looking for a quick in grab what they can and out, they know about hollowed books, false electrical sockets, fake bean or soup tins. Just an idea might help someone, wouldn't do for something that could be detected by smell, so stash your hash in something else. though I do have an idea or that might work LOL.

Better to stash it somewhere anyone wouldn't expect than the obvious.

This is cheap but still.

Meh. Looks like it could be opened without too much hassle with the right tools.

Anyone who's serious about a key safe should invest on a more secure one than this.

Depends what you expect of it, I would think this safe could be reasonably effective against a distraction burglary, providing it was adequately secured, and I'd suggest 4 bolts, not 2. It might even defeat an opportunist thief providing you own tools are safely locked up.

The first place burglars look is the main bedroom in the wardrobe, on top of the wardrobe, under the bed then in the drawers.
There are several sizes of safe and this looks the smaller one and has been this price before.
Better to use this as a decoy, leave a nice note for the burglar inside it and store your valuable s somewhere else, like the kids bedroom under the floor or in the loft.
