Repost from last week I think.

Sorry I missed that although that post says It's expired, which it isn't, I've just ordered one !!!
#3
There's one at my local store thanks.

Be wary about this. I did a R+C for this very game a little while ago and when I got there, got handed a vanilla copy of Medal of Honor. I challenged the till monkey about this, only he swore blind it was the limited edition (clue: limited edition copies have the words "limited edition" on it, and have the red battlefield 3 beta triangle as in the picture above. This copy had neither). I told them to keep it.

Thanks op and kodoku, just reseved one.

So should all LE have bf3 beta codes. Even if its old stock.

Yes they should. It's the main selling point of it. Well, there's a couple of extra weapons as well but I'm pretty sure most people bought the LE for the Battlefield 3 beta.

There's no code for the beta, unless it's linked to the online pass for MoH.
I have the LE of this and the slip inside has the MoH online pass code on one side, and on the other is the Battlfield 3 blurb with visit http://www.ea.com/beta
no code is present on there

slip is same as this one post 11

I have the game and got 1000G from it. Multiplayer was good but limited in terms of maps.

I am hoping that the BF3 beta is accessible by getting giveaway keys from Eurogamer and suchlike. Thats how Ive got into betas in the past.
#11
Just picked the LE version up. The BF3 beta says it has to be within 12 months of the release of medal of honour. Will we still get it?.

I think that the beta for bf3 will be live within 12 months of the release date of medal of honor.

I got the 1000G too, the achievement for obtaining and using the last kill streak was very hard.

You will need a code from the LE in order to get into the BF3 Beta via this method. You'll also need a copy of the MoH game disc. According to DICE, the Beta option will appear on the Medal of Honor in-game menu once the Beta is live (due for September I think).

Confirmation on the EA forums:

http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/medal-honor-ng/1375911-if-i-trade-moh-will-i-still-ablr-access-battlefield-3-beta.html

You do need the MoH disc to access the Beta. The option will appear in the game to access the BF3 Beta when the time comes.

The EA Account is only really needed because BF3 will need you to go online to play as far as I am aware but yeah you will be able to pick up a pre-owned copy and still access the Beta. Just don't delete your MoH Online Pass from your HDD/Memory Unit and you should be good to go.

- Bazajaytee, DICE

I am sure there will be further Beta keys distributed via the usual channels nearer the time.

I got the streak twice on Helmand as a sniper. Once your team takes the first objective and the defenders retreat to the bunker area I sniped across the valley from the houses where the previous objective was (furthest one left as you look towards the bunker). The enemy is very bunched together and the kills rack up quickly.
I don't play it anymore. BF2 is my game of choice.

I ordered this the other day from currys as well and it ended up being the standard edition -_-

Just a quick question - Does anyone else find it hard to see which people are on your side. The tag above their head is white and so is a lot of the scenery.

Yes, everyone appears to be miniature micro men. Very hard to see.

Me too however, I called currys and they said to pop to your local store and if they have a limited edition they would swap it or if they don't have any stock you can exchange it at pc world otherwise they would refund money. Call centre guy said there is a glitch with thier online system !!

I went to my local currys and they swapped it for the ltd edition no probs :)

If I wanted to waste money on petrol then I would have bought it from the store in the first place. As of now still waiting on a reply from them to sort it out.

Excellent educated response you obviously put alot of time into it.

They have finally got back to me and said I can arrange a collection, still a complete waste of my time, may see if they are willing to offer some sort of goodwill gesture instead.

To be fair he *did* try to help you and you threw it back in his face with a flippant response. A meh is all you deserved.

No idea why your trying to stir things up Kodoku maybe you haven't got anything better to do ?

More on topic they arranged a collection for last Monday but guess what they never turned up, it wasn't until Friday they decided to show, the only day that no one was in. Just makes their company even more of a joke then it already is. Will have to ring them to arrange another collection and hope that there is someone intelligent enough that knows the days of the week. :|

What can I say? Calling out jerks is a hobby of mine. I wasn't even expecting a response since most reasonable people would have moved on by now (I only came across this post again after comparing Medal of Honor deals in relation to one I had just found). On seeing that you *did* respond, I find it disappointing that you are completely unrepentant for your earlier rudeness.

Therefore, I like to think your abysmal luck in your dealings with Curry's is some measure of karmic retribution :)

I replied again to offer some valuable insight into the company and my current dealings with them so as to help other people make informed choices, all my comments were not directed at any individual but bore out of frustration towards the company. So I guess that makes me the reasonable person who actually has something relevant to say about this deal where as you and your so called righteous attitude towards me is misguided and shows you up as the real jerk, no doubt you will try to come back with something just as irrelevant as "karmic retribution".

I on the other hand will reply when I have a further update on my current dealings with this company in regard to this topic as I have done with each of my replies. I apologize if I offended anyone with my comments but as I said before they were meant to be directed towards the company and not at any individual.
