Use Code: SECOSMO for 10% off (New customers only)

The game is £32.99 without the code, which is still pretty reasonable.

Very tempted by this however I wish more information about the game was available. Have seen a few videos and it looks promising but I am very fussy with FPS games. Remember tho you get access to BF4 beta by ordering this which is definitely a bonus. Heat added

Comes up as £37.99 for me, meaning it's £34.19 with the code for the X360/PS3 version

-1 for the bad math/eyesight

I'm avoiding this. EA have partnered with weapons manufacturers to promote real life weapon sales. It's pretty disturbing really, and I'm not comfortable with the blurring of the lines between gaming and reality when it comes to war games.

You can use the code SEGCON12 to bring the price down to £30.39, don't know if you can use the other code with this one.

I think we should just have one deal for all the sainsburys code offers atm. Everyone is posting a different game but with the same type of offer

Thanks for the update. I still can't believe the EA spokesman can't recognise the problem with what his company is doing.

They haven't pulled the sale of the Tomahawk + weapon attachments. You can still buy them, they just aren't being mentioned on the EA website.

Great price but Im holding off. Games are just turning out to hyped nowadays..and when you do get to play them they are shi*e...

When I first read your post. I thought EA had started subsiding real "arms", like a Tomahawk missile :)
Or giving coupon codes for AK47s. :)
Does seem a bit daft, but we probably don't understand how weapon sales are to Americans, as cigrattes are to us in the UK.
When you can pop down the corner shop and pick up an M16, an axe might seem tame?

I take it you refuse to watch Sparticus because Chartlton Heston is in it?
end_of_line#15
They are (or maybe were now), promoting the sale of guns and gun accessories: sniper rifles, extended clips etc. They had 'partnered' with weapons manufacturers, running features promoting their weapons and providing links to their sites. You're right about the UK and US differences. The whole idea of buying a gun is completely alien to me and no doubt the same for most Brits.

Kirk Douglas is in Spartacus. ;) Charleton Heston is awesome in both Ben-Hur and Planet of the Apes (very melodramatic!). He was also pretty good in that Columbine Michael Moore film; made an embarrassment of MM.

Hrhr, all those old guys look the same to me :)
There is a bit of a spat going on in the "Gaming Press" about Gamespot "biting the hand that feeds", and politicising articles.

But... I spose my point is, boycotting and denying yourself a pleasure should be weighed up against its likely affectiveness. But good for you if you take a stand. I just personally don't think EA would give a rats :)

I'm just off to IMDB to brush up on my movie knowledge. :)

You're probably right about the effect of a boycott, but hey ho. There's plenty of games I can play instead of MoH.

I don't think much of the article you posted. Gamespot's article was journalism, the MoH one is a partisan peice.

I have managed to pre order this on there website today using the code SEGCON12 to reduce the price to £30.39. I think this code works on any of there pre-orders and gives you 20% off

Avoiding this ,the multiplayer isnt made by dice(makers of battlefield) this time , more emphasis on single player apparently , each to their own though.
