  They haven't pulled the sale of the Tomahawk + weapon attachments. You can still buy them, they just aren't being mentioned on the EA website.

  When I first read your post. I thought EA had started subsiding real "arms", like a Tomahawk missile :)
  Or giving coupon codes for AK47s. :)
  Does seem a bit daft, but we probably don't understand how weapon sales are to Americans, as cigrattes are to us in the UK.
  When you can pop down the corner shop and pick up an M16, an axe might seem tame?

  They are (or maybe were now), promoting the sale of guns and gun accessories: sniper rifles, extended clips etc. They had 'partnered' with weapons manufacturers, running features promoting their weapons and providing links to their sites. You're right about the UK and US differences. The whole idea of buying a gun is completely alien to me and no doubt the same for most Brits.
  
  Kirk Douglas is in Spartacus. ;) Charleton Heston is awesome in both Ben-Hur and Planet of the Apes (very melodramatic!). He was also pretty good in that Columbine Michael Moore film; made an embarrassment of MM.

  Avoiding this ,the multiplayer isnt made by dice(makers of battlefield) this time , more emphasis on single player apparently , each to their own though.
