Thanks! Don't know why the link isn't working!
They may feel very dated when you play them now but these were the FPS classics back in the day. The roots of your CODs.

I would give it a 9 to be honest.... for the soundtrack and the guides to the game... and the exclusive interview and documentary and... ok, just everything!
they where fantastic until PACIFIC killed the series dead... (much like world at war killed the COD franchise) even the brand new game is marred by memories of it. Certainly excellent gaming if ya bin Pacific and just play the rest, I say even more so than many of the new war fps once ya get past the dated graphics.

Not sure how the original would stand the test of time but despite the reaction of most people I actually enjoyed Pacific. Unfortunately Airborne proved to be a buggy release with technical support dying very quickly and I couldn't get it to work on 2 machines.
Graphics look dire today, but allied assault was top dog in its day :D

Dont think its worth buying mind you, not when you can get good xbox games for around the same price.
Never played Pacific but Airborne was bad, took me ages to get it installed & soon removed it once i had!
But HOT deal for the price!
Does anyone know if the allied assault games have now been fixed to work with Vista/Windows 7

I only ask because in the warchest pack they would only work with XP

Good question hopefully someone can answer it, definitely be ordering..

the game is poor now when we look at it compared to todays releases, but MOHAA held the attention of thousands for years, these days.. we get a CoD or MOH coming out(and most FPS tbh), everyone plays it for a month or couple of months, leaves it down and goes to play something else. The original MOH and CoD will be the games we will always remember War FPS wise :)
had a look on the box it says vista support only for airbourne..

I Have Airborne on my XP sp3 machine running fine.... although I got the game for free when EA had a glitch a while back.... it's ok but not anywhere as good as Allied Assualt or Spearhead..... and I agree that Pacific killed it for me, a truly awful game that I gave up on halfway through,
