Wonder if its tier 1 edition to?

I believe Tier 1 Edition is Game/Gamestation exclusive? This is definetly the "Limited Edition".

Not a bad deal if you want/need the Points (£16.97) or the 3 months Live (£14.90)

got this in limited edition and the new assassins creed game from zavvi for just over £60. using the £6 off £60 code and the walkers 10%@ off . then i got quidco.
already got the points from lovefilm retail as they had a £3 off £30 code floating around. so two 2100 points cards cost around £28 before quidco i think.

voted hot all the same

The limited edition version is the one that isn't a limited edition!!!

This is a good deal but was thinking could play my copy from Game, get this offer when it arrives on Tesco website & return it to Game for a refund, what I did last year with MW2 with Game & Amazon. Mmmm ...... decisions, play now or wait & spend about £7 more for 2100 points!!

Think its the points that win, cheers for the heads up on this

Just phoned my local asda aswell and would not give me the price.

Very doubtful of the price being cheap on release, but who knows, these things can happen.

Most people have been put off by the terrible beta/average and woeful reviews. It was a must buy for me till I found out that the hit detection is completely broken online, meaning its basically still in BETA.

I'm sure EA must be putting way too much pressure on their devs to make these games, as almost every EA published game has either been dumbed down beyond beleif or has stupid amounts of bugs present within it, and none of them ever get fixed. Mass Effect 2, FIFA 09, and Dead Space are the only ones that come to mind which are actually great from EA.

received mine today - played first two levels and really enjoyed it so far - good looking game - not noticed any real bugs yet or found anything frustrating - only played singal player campaign so far

I'm guessing some of you have seen the trailer from the chopper, my question is aswell as firing at the many foes are you the pilot aswell? or is it just lame auto pilot...

First level done - its not bad to be fair, although I would say play it on Hard in single player from the off as I breezed through the first stage on Medium...

the helicopter is autopilot you just shoot the weapons . the online has massively improved from the beta and the hit detection is alot crisper.you can supposedly shoot between people's legs and miss now.

no offers on ps3 version i phoned my local tesco & was told it'll be £37.97 which is more than game would say they gave avery vague £40-50

Cold.the game is being received very poorly, the price is not great and because of the lack of quality with the title the price will plummet very quickly as a result.

Take it youve played it then mate??? This game is quality and definatly gives MW2 a run for its money.

It has an overall critic score on Metacritic of 75% with an average user score of 8/10. I wouldnt say its that poor.

Doing exact same thing if you buy £20 psn credit :)

Spotted in both the Burnley and Rawtenstall bigger stores if it helps anymore :)

need the points anyway so gonna buy the game, play it for afew weeks and trade it in before the new COD comes out. Will probably be able to get £20/£25 at least for it.

EA games tend to hold price for abit, and hey ASDA will always do some stupidly high trade ins

Add the Battlefield series to that list , been the best Multiplayer FPS for 8 years now .

It may give Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising a run for its money which had a similar aggregate score, but at least Dragon Rising had unique selling points. 8/10 User score for an unreleased game which only a number of people (mainly developers and industry colleagues)...well you might say that this score is based largely on "wishing".

Yes I have played along with colleagues and yes it is woefully tedious, very short and feels like a a shooter would have felt seven years ago. We never got to play the multi-player aspect, just the finished campaign. Also the price is high considering its poor (yes POOR) reception with the only benefit of owning the release is to be included in the Battlefield 3 Beta.

If we leave out the obvious drawbacks of the title itself and just consider the price point and pretend it's a good game, and maybe pretend the 8/10 from users who probably have never played the title is genuine then the price is decent, but pretending about the thing won't achieve anything.
#27
screw the reviews, i think its going to be a good game. the reviews only slate it for being a bit linear and nothing new..... but look at the presentation and environment! i think it'll be worth playing.
#28
Great game, really solid SP so far also playing as Tier 1 is awesome. BUT don't buy it just for the SP, Im up to level 8 on Hard in about 3 hours.
#29
Played it for nearly a week (don't ask). Not a great game but equally not awful. It's probably worth £20. It's not a CoD killer by any means.

I dont think they are pretending as the game went on general sale in the states earlier in the week.

i just phoned my asda store, and they said that it will be £37.40. Maybe tescos it is.
#32
This was never going to get good reviews simply because the next instalment of COD is just around the corner. No review site is going to side with this over COD - absolutely no chance. I played this for a good few hours today and its a solid shooter - 8/10 for me.
#33
Very average game, I got mine from shopto today, can't get on with the multiplayer at all, played single player for a few hours and found an annoying bug that when you reach a checkpoint it sometimes doesn't automatically have your team leader move, he just stays there and so you then have to go back on yourself to try and "activate" the next stage , otherwise he just stays put and you can't go any further

Very dissapointed with this game and I'll be selling it as soon as I finished the sp

Got mine delivered this morning from Shopto. i have played the first 2 levels on singleplayer and I really enjoyedy it. The multiplayer has been done by Dice who did a superb job of Battlefield Bad company 2 and it plays more like MW 2 for those who are interested, great sound and hit detection seems spot on from my meagre efforts.:D
#35
Multiplayer is like a more simplified version of Bad Company 2, so if you're buying it for the multiplayer and haven't got Bad Company 2 get that instead. Single player is alright ish, what I've seen so far, but not super exciting.

Giant Bomb has a quicklook that might give you an idea. http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-medal-of-honor/17-3354/

it doesn't even push MW2 close...

SP is quite awful, Hard difficulty is incredibly easy, the AI are stupid and the graphics are poor (its running on Unreal btw)

MP is not too bad, although its almost exactly the same as Bad Company 2. The only noticable difference is you can drop enemies much easier, the maps are smaller than BC2 and the "score chains" are pretty cool.

The Frontlines game you get looks exactly the same as it did on the PS2. there's no HD update to it at all, poor effort on that part.

i'd say the 75/100 rating is very accurate. this will tick you over until Black Ops anyway. platinum/1000G shouldn't be too hard either.
