is this game any good?

I keep trying to add this to my basket, but Play have come to a standstill due to the amount of traffic they must be getting today.

review : http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/838/838143p1.html

well presented, but short apparently. Sounds alright for a tenner. play.com does appear to have imploded at the mo though.

I really like this on 360. Great price for this game

I have the PS3 version and I have to say it is very entertaining. The AI is amazing and changes a lot during the game. Although levels are obviously similar if you get killed and have to restart the soldiers do change attack and come at you in a different formation which always give a game a little more longevity.

Recommended.

Thank You Very Much, ordered should get it in a couple of days. No problems with play.com site
#14
I personally didn't like the game as Call of Duty 4 is soo much better.

However, 2 weeks ago I exchanged my copy at gamestation for £12 (can't remember exact figure) so it might be worth buying just to exchange for a higher value.

Sorry to sound daft, but how do you get PC world to price match? Do you call them on the number on their website even if you want to buy it from one of their stores or do you reserve it for store collection and take a printout of the webpage which is selling it cheaper?
#20

This game isnt available to order online so just reserve and go into store and when you come to pay for it tell them then that you want to price match with play.com. Just make sure Play still have it in stock and also remember to get 10% of the difference off also, will bring it down to £6.99

Noooooooooooo, they do it at the tills without question, been there done that :)

So does the pricematch depends on whether your local PC World has the game in stock? because Medal of Honor: Airborne is not showing up on the PC World website's search.

can anyone give a step by step way to get a pricematch from PC World?
#31
1. I found it on PC worlds website easy enough, seached for medal honor.
2. the last few posts give a step by step guide on how to get a price match, especially Zippy73, post 28.

And big thanks to you sir

I too just got back with 1 copy, and I should of had 3 copies, but the idiot guy who served me was so dumb, he insisted the price stated on play was play trade, so I spent 45 mins trying to prove myself correct, in the end went to another branch, got it with no questions asked :)
#35
No stock in Scotland
#36
Cant seem to find this for the 360 on any of the 3 sites mentioned for under a tenner, all coming up at around £20 quid or so. Am I doing something wrong, or was it duff info !?!?

I C&P the "Medal Of Honor: Airborne" into search last night & didn't show up, but after reading your post late last night I just searched for "Medal Of Honor" & it did showed up.

BTW if I go into my PCworld without reserving, if they have the game in stock, when I take it to checkout, they'll go online, check the play.com price, and they'll price match, but beat it by 10%, is the 10% based on PCworld's selling price? will the pcworld guy know how to calculate it?

EDIT: as stocky said no stock showing up in Scotland (well no store anywhere near me, may be deliberate ploy by PCworld to not show stock?), but I think I saw some when I was in PCworld the last time hunting for 4.97 & 9.97 clearance games. Has anybody phoned up their local store & ask?
#38
Great stuff, I have just reserved a copy at my local PC World store £6.99 here I come. Thanks to the original OP and the person who suggested price match at PC World. :)
