Operating under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors is called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators. There are more than 2 million Americans who proudly wear the uniform, of which some 50,000 fall under the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane above and beyond even this select group. Their exact numbers, while classified, are believed to be in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence.

Medal of Honor’s gritty single-player campaign is inspired by and developed with actual Tier 1 Operators, and gives you the unique ability to step into their boots. Utilize the surgical skill set of these elite warriors -- in combination with the overwhelming force of the U.S. Army Rangers – to infiltrate enemy-held territories in the unforgiving battlefield conditions of Afghanistan. This unparalleled experience offers the most authentic and relevant combat to date.

Getting back to the core of heart-pounding, all-out action, Medal of Honor multiplayer plays out in close quarters where the individual player’s skill is the most important tool for survival. Two teams of up to twelve players battle against one another on eight custom maps in the unforgiving mountains, valleys, and cities of Afghanistan. The unique game modes feature modern-day vehicles, realistic destruction, plus a weapon customization system that grants you access to hundreds of combinations of mods. When the battle is over, see how you stack up against other players on the game’s skill-specific leaderboards.

Limited Edition Includes:

MP-7 - Exclusively in the Limited Edition, is a weapon utilized by Tier 1 Operators in the field. With its light weight, high rate of fire as well as its ability to penetrate body armor, the MP7 handles like a pistol yet allows targets to be engaged like a rifle

TOZ194 and 870MCS Shotguns and Slugs - Get instant access to these two devastating shotguns and more powerful ammo for close-range fights

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Battlefield 3 Beta – receive an invitation to the beta* for another highly-anticipated EA shooter, Battlefield 3™. Battlefield 3 is the latest entry in the award-winning shooter franchise from DICE in Stockholm, Sweden.
Would be nice to have something that overpowers the COD series.. It's getting boring lately.
#19
From the beta I highly dout it :/ COD will still rule and always will unless something matchs it. Tons of things I disliked about the MOH Beta, the HUD sucks big time, nads are far to weak (lands right at someones feet and they don't go boom
*** HEADS UP*** anyone who's thinking of ordering, getting the beta access, and cancelling... dont.
shopto dont let you cancel a preorder once you've redeemed your code, oh well... looks like ill have to miss out on the bf3 beta :|:(
#21
PC version cheaper at Amazon for the Ltd Ed. Normal version is cheapest at Coolshop.co.uk. Not voted either way.
#22
is there 2 different types of the LE?
i ask because the zavvi description says LE but doesn't mention the frontline hd download nor does it mention the battlefield 3 beta even though the picture does?
That better be bull as I preordered already on the basis of it it included the Frontline game for free (Thats why I chose the ps3 versions instead of the 360)
The code that shopto are giving you was for the beta moh beta which is now over.
The game will come with a code for the bc3 beta access. According to the website the PS3 still comes with Medal of Honour Frontline HD.
"Medal of Honor Frontline HD -- Only for the PS3 version of the Tier 1 Edition is the classic, Medal of Honor Frontline™ completely remastered in HD."
the ps3 LE gets frontline included in the game, yea it might be a download a bit like call of duty was in the hardened edition of MW2
all the us stores i.e amazon.com, ebgames, gamestop etc say the LE on the ps3 comes with frontline hd, even the moh website shows the LE cover with frontline included so ill take there word for it
BS.
All the first run copies of the game are limited edtion expect GAME have exclusive tier 1 edition.
All limited edition/tier 1 copies of the PS3 version have Medal of Honor Frontline HD
Just to expand, the GAME group (GAME, Gamestation, Gameplay) have the Tier One with Gameplay being the cheapest (£37.99 on consoles).
Tier One gets you everything in the LE plus the Tier One assault character skin and the M60 LMG.
The pre-order PC version Medal Of Honor: Limited Edition (with Battlefield 3 Multiplayer BETA Access) is available at Play.com for £26.99.
The 2nd MOH Beta which begins tomorrow is an open Beta. You do not need to pre-order to download it. You can download it now from Steam or there are several other download sites available.
Some Tips
If you already have the Medal of Honor Closed Beta game client (from this past June's Beta) installed on your machine, then uninstall that before installing the Open Beta game client.
(This is for the pc version. i don't know about other platforms)
Just played this at eurogamer today and it was a poor game, just a cheap rubbish rip-off of call of duty mw2 which itself isnt the greatest game of all time.
Good find Nathan! Heat added, though I pre-ordered my Tier 1 edition from Game (Had lots of points!).
If anyone also has BFBC2 and have a VIP status make sure you register on the EA Gun Club to get early access (unlock) to the M24 Sniper Rifle (regardless of the edition you purchase!)
You mean the Open PC beta that has just started, or the PS3 / X360 beta which has dramatically changed since the closing of that beta?
DICE listened to a lot of forum feedback on it and radically improved and tweaked everything, check out:
The beta for MoH is closed but the beta code that everybody wants is the one for battlefield 3 which hasn't started yet and probably wont for another 6-12 months (guess!)
#39
haha the beta finished months ago for all those who are thinking they are getting MoH beta access with this.
a few words, COD4 is the original great and MW2 didnt live up to it for me, i have never been a fan of any of the bush humping battlefield series especially as i consider myself good at these games and i seemed to suck at them but i played the beta of this and it was great imo! its much more a run and gun and really quite chaotic due to the larger teams which suits me, i like the killstreaks aswell personally im not expecting anything from black ops and might not even go there but the inclusion of such things in this game as headshots making a real difference with a subby for instance makes it great imo,
though they will undoubtedly change some of the stuff i really loved that explosive damage had been totally reduced, i like the way RPG's were riddiculously accurate so if you ran round with a subby you could snipe a guy miles away, i like that iron sites were basically best, but it will allways kill me that these games include veichles..... though a quick killstreak on them will sort it out
im just soo glad to see the end of people sitting on medical packages with and lmg in a bush...
