Hi all
I am not sure how good a deal this is, but seems good specs for little money. I am sure your comments will be appreciated.

Medion's Akoya E5211 is a fast and easy-to-use laptop for on-the-go computing. Boasting a 15.4" TFT widescreen (maximum resolution 1280x800) and powered by an Intel Pentium T4200 processor, it's fast and functional - and finished in a simple black.

Why is it expired?

Sorry, my fault as I didn't notice the in-store bit as my browser wrapped that part to another line

No worries
Can you put it back? I would like to know what people thinks.
Thanks

um Medion's customer service could be allot better, and more quicker to return the goods back to you. Mind, this was a few years ago, without a recession.

Thou, for a non recon. Quite allot, for not allot.

Shame it's not national. As you should see the sorry state of my medion. Thou to be fair it's about 9years old. Cost me four times as much.

LoL! I want Blood from a stone :)

These are definately in store as I saw a load this morning and have just come in and seen this post. Borders on territory though with some good better brands probably £30-40 more I would guess. I've yet to see a Medion laptop with particularly good build quality for the rough and tumble of real portability..

Medion = never again for me!

Sainsburys site says T3000 (eew Celeron) and 2GB ram. If its the one I think it is, they have been banging these out perdiocally at this price since before xmas!

You are showing your ignorance of CPUs. The dual core celerons are highly capable processors, same processor as core 2 duo with less cache and no speedstep, indistinguishable from a core2duo in performance for most tasks.

using one right now..well pleased with it. fortunate for me i recieved a £30 discount as a goodwill gesture for the store mixing up and saving me this instead of the 2gb for £199.... not bad for £270
