Would'nt touch Medion unless it has a 3 y r warranty; my second Medion laptop has gone wrong - very usefully just 2 weeks after the 1yr warranty it came with has expired......

Do you remember the big thing in Dec 208 where Viking Direct had the wrong price on the medion laptops?
I bought one. The case is now broken where one of the hinges are. And one side of the display surround has broken away. I have had to hot glue the laptop so that the lid stays open and the display surround stays shut. Medion told me they do not supply cases for laptops and basically I am fecked!
I have had about 10 laptops now, and all of them never fell apart like this one, it was like metal fatigue on the bottom cover.

Medion customer service are dreadful. I purchase one of there base units from them in ALDI. To cut long story short, It ent back to medion for repair, and when i received it back, it still wasnt working right. It took me 3months to get my money back. Avoid buying a from either Aldi or medion.
