  I got a few of these when they were £229 at Sainsburys, only they had 500gb hard drives. Fine for the price but customer service is terrible

  I agree this is a very good spec for the money. These are actually the same price at Sainsburys.
  I bought one, but it had to go back. Althought the hardware is a good spec, the faults associated with this model soon surfaced, and I couldn't live with it. A great shame.
  I bought an Asus from a high street computer shop, and it's been much better.
  if you google the Medion, you'll soon see what I mean; trackpad problems, sound problems, wake-up problems, etc.

  yes. if both host and client are 3.0. if one is 2.0 and one 3.0, it will go 2.0 speed.

  I got the i5 640gb version to this from Sainsburys for the same price earlier in the year, and yes,it does have it's odd moments about and for some reason it is very slow compared to what I expected an i5 to be like. Viewing angle of the screen does seem a bit poor, but on the whole worth the cash for what I paid.

  I have the i5 version, don't know if the i3 version has the same issue. The 'mouse pad' is excellent in concept but mine has issues. Difficult to use an ordinary one when you've switched. Maybe wait and see if any comments from the ebuyer stock come in.
